Erode women's rights? Absurd! The Conservatives would lose the most money when they cut the tax payor gift. Support your party with your wallet...not mine. The Libs are arrogant. The NDP...as the Libs just said a month ago...would destroy the country with it's crazy ideas...funny how that changed.

The coalition needs to exist, just look at the facts. Harpers budget would've eroded womans rights, civil workers ability to strike until 2011 and the funding of 1.95$ per vote to the political parties (which the conservatives dont need being the wealthiest party) The coalition was and is a tool to fight Adolf Harpers tyranny.
We voted and 62% of us dont want harper. Support the Coalition @:

Look at the facts of how harpers budget would've eroded womans rights, civil workers ability to strike until 2011 and the funding of 1.95$ per vote to the political parties (which the conservatives dont need being the richest party [CORPORATE HANDOUTS FTW.])
Everyone who is commenting in favour of the coalition is either a conservative volunteer a bot or a really really ignorant individual.

I am disgusted by the suggestion that this is some how treasonous. How dare you. Everything being done by the opposition is both legal and correct procedure. Harper acting outside of the spirit of the rules is wrong. Further, having been at the rally, I would say it was closer to four thousand people. The square was packed. But who needs facts when you have opinions right? Isn't that the Conservative motto?
When the coalition was proposed I was telling everyone it was constitutional, legal, morally correct, democratic and completely admissable in all forms of Parlimentary convention. People called me a dictator, facist, communist, socialist, bully, thug, moron, idiot and all other silly insults...
Then in the U.K. election, a coalition government was the result of cooperation from more than one political party and all proving that it it is feasible.
Pro-treason rally=about 300 union members with professionally printed signs and a paid day off.
Pro-democracy rally=2000 individuals with hand made signs.
The polls don't lie, 2/3rds of Canadians are strongly opposed to this attempted hijacking of the country. The Libs and NDP have finally thrown off the disquise and shown themselves to be power mad lunatics. Jumping into bed with the separatists and attempting to over-turning democracy when their political welfare check was threatened.
I personally think Walsh was making a joke and Dion was playing along. Tories being such vile partisans seem to take any reason to seize on Dion as being legitimate. That is the sad part. As for the polls. One adds up to 95% - that indicates a problem usually, but who needs facts when you've got opinion.
The rally against the coalition at Queen's Park was organized by a 17 year old highschool student on Facebook and a couple of university students, and ran smoothly with all the speakers.
This rally was organized by some big union dudes, complete with glossy printed signs and bussed in supporters, and looks pathetic by comparison.
Adios Dion. Adios coalition. >50% of Canadians now support Harper
I went to a rally in 2004 that was attended by our Minister of Finance, Jim Flaherty, in which he condemned gay relationships and worked a crowd up against same sex marriage. It was a 'Defend Marriage' rally that didn't get much press (and still isn't mentioned much). Anyway I'll post the pics on my channel tomorrow.
Read the polls lately? Harper is up over 50% and the CPC is having an unprecedented fund raising result. The left have sewered themselves big time. Please keep this "coalition" of the three stooges together a bit longer so that Harper can hit 60%
Yeah, it's too bad so many Canadians are so completely ignorant of their own governmental process. I used to think my fellow Canadians knew their own system, but it would seem most are very uneducated. I hope they look into the facts and discover how things work so their ignorance can't be exploited. America has GWB we have Harper. Both use fear and ignorance to acheive their ideological goals.
How does Harper use fear and ignorance to achieve his goals? All of the "sky is falling" talk has been coming from the left. And I know enough about the political process to know that an NDP Liberal coalition does not command a majority of the house, unless the Bloc is a part of the coalition. How can they claim to be a part of the majority, but not a part of the coalition? WTF is that all about? Do they really think we are that stupid? Or are they just that stupid?
The Bloc were elected the same way all the other MPs were. While I don't support separatism (and neither does Dion, Google: The Clarity Act) I do have the common sense to realize that there are OTHER issues than sovereignty that the gov must deal with (economy, environment, etc.). It's these issues that the coalition government has found common ground. Harper has implied that the coalition wants to destroy Canada - I'd say that's using fear.
Don't be so pedantic. I know what the clarity act is. If Dion was a separatist, I would not be upset with him. I am upset with him for his dalliance with the separatists precisely because he is a federalist. He is pimping himself out. And I know that the Bloc members were all elected. My point is that unless they are a part of the coalition, the coalition does not command a majority of the house. It does not even command the largest minority. They are trying to suck and blow at the same time.
dont even try to say that the liberals are "pimping themselves out" after Harper tried to create a coalition with them at least twice. It makes you look, and sound, ignorant. The coalition may be a minority government, but at least they have the confidence of the house.
Please, read up on Canadian parliament, before you comment and make your self sound ignorant.
And you sound like someone who couldn't follow logic if it war chained to your nose. When did I ever say the coalition did not have the confidence of the house? I said they don't have a majority. And you have dodged it twice. And as for Harper trying the same things some years ago: I was against that too. You are the one using Harper's past actions to justify the coalition. Were you for the idea when Harper tried it? Idiot.

Yes we can makes sense in two context's.
One its a way of standing up to the nay'sayers that try and divide the coalition and marginalise groups like the bloc or the ndp.
Two its saying "yes we can" to the group of retards across the streets saying "no you cant".
I was at the rally you werent. kthx.
