  • normal i900 is not so good but moddet whis mobile shell and some more programms its great.look at my vids.

  • hey thats viet. my friend's viet

  • No, if your Omina is slow... You must buy a memory card with it. It slows down on less memory. It even gives you a warning.

  • yay i cant wait for the next part :)

  • i think this phone will be better than the G1 becuase i like having high MPs on my camera and this is 5MP. i think the G1 is only 3.2 MP which is quite dissapointing

  • why my omnia is slower than your?!?!?

  • hes probably using wifi in a hot spot

  • got an samsung i900 3 days ago, touch screen is rubbish compared to iphone. don't buy this wait for G1 on t-mobile its much better and its gonna be released at the end of october.

  • can it handle advance web sites?...

should i buy htc touch HD?

  • u should buy htc touch HD

  • How would you compare it too HTC Touch HD, coming soon

    any disappointments with this phone

should i wait or get the Samsung ?

  • i heard the HTC Touch HD doesnt have flash with the camera, and the camera overall seems worse than the i900. but the HD does have better screen resolution. everything else is pretty much the same, but HD will be more expensive

  • can you go on the internet for free on it?

  • Yeah, they even pay to use it...

  • Yeah, they even pay you to use it...

  • it is unlocked u can only use in usa with t-mobile or att and all sim card

  • Anyone know what

    carrier you need for

    this phone? Looks

    awesome, I wanna get

    it.

  • ArizonaWildcats

So do you work form apple or you just suck their dick for free?

masterkenobl is stating facts what are you doing?

  • Except Samsung did this before the iPhone...

  • two questions, this phone has 3g how did you set that up under connection and what location. Second question is where is the location showing how much internal storage memory .

  • Can it play anything like Super Monkey Ball?

  • Who cares?

  • people that like capable devices.

    and people who aren't cheap

  • So you define a device as capable if it can play a stupid game and people as cheap if they don't have this device? Dude...

  • my opinion.

super monkey ball is not stupid and most of the other games on the iphone aren't either. i'd love to see another phone with half the selection and quality of iphone games. the iphone holds a promising future.

and i was talking about super monkey ball when i said cheap, because many people think it is overpriced. it $9.99, how is that overpriced?! people pay ~$20 for a nintendo ds game. THAT is overpriced.

  • It can play Call of Duty 2 pocket pc.

  • not sure but i heard it can play Farcry 2!

  • if it runs on windows mobile there are hundreds of software to be installed. You can surely enjoy. Browsing looks easy ! And does it have 16GB memory? and how about the sound quality is it better than an ipod or iphone ! ( and does iphone has 100s of softwares too ?)

  • the iphone is approaching 1000 software applications in the appstore, it has 16 gb of memory, when you jailbreak it, you can do far more than any device with the exception of an actual computer.

the touch screen is much more responsive, just look at reviews on cnet.

web browsing is even easier on iphone, actually everything is easy on iphone.

I am sure the iPhone 3G destroys this thing at everything, especially sound quality

  • mojomatt176, you need to shove your iphone up your ass, see if it blends, then leave this thread. Let me break it down from you:

The iPhone uses HSPDA at 3.2 mbps- or 3G speed (Omnia uses 7.2 mbps speed - or a 3.5G phone-- 4 megabytes MP3 file in 7 seconds or less)

The iPhone has no video (the Omnia has video plus video editing on the phone itself)

The iPhone has no TV video out port (The Omnia has video out for Powerpoint presentations or anything else)

  • The iPhone has fixed 2Megapixel picture camera. (The Omnia has 5 Mega pixels with Macro, dynamic range, zoom, face recognition, etc).

The iPhone plays mov and adobe flash video (The Omnia plays divx, xvid, wmv, MP4, H 263/4, mpeg, mpg)

The iPhone has has no text reader (The Omnia has Word for windows with cut and paste, etc)

The Omnia has Powerpoint, Excel, Word for Windows.

  • The iPhone has a hybrid GPS with no street by street audio help- not realtime. (The Omnia has a true GPS with street by street audio telling you where to take a left or right, etc in realtime.)

The iPhone has no true recording capability, except for some poor 3rd party applications.

(The Omnia has true voice recording and playback.)

The iPhone has no voice recognition calling (the Omnia has true voice- call contact name, for example.)

  • The iPhone has no expansion port (The Omnia has a microSD slot).

The iPhone's battery is not replaceable. (The Omnia has a replaceable battery that you can remove and replace with a new one or a newly recharged one).

The iPhone has a full HTML browser. (so does the Omnia- the page displays entire web page initially and then you can with a flick of the finger, expand the page in realtime to any size you like and move it to the right location with the touch of the finger- similar to the iPhone).

  • The Omnia comes with two cameras. One in the front and the 5MP in the back. The extra front camera is used, so the other person on the other line can see you (if they also have the Omnia- great for deaf people). The future use of front camera is obvious- face to face talking or seeing a realtime event live!

  • The iPhone when plugged in gives you iTunes browser to work with, and you're at its mercy of what you can or can't do, the iPhone (esp in WinXP and Vista) cannot be used as an external removable storage of files that you want to drag or drop. (The Omnia when plugged in the USB becomes a removable storage device, where you can drag and drop to and from the device and computer, things like applications CABs,MP3s,videos,zip files or self-extracting encrypted files, or pictures (jpg, bmp, tiff, etc)

  • The Omnia has a FM radio with recording capabilty at 128kbps- near CD-quality.

The iPhone has a slick touch screen OS. (the Omnia uses the TouchWiz OS which mimics pretty much the same principle as the OS X on the iPhone).

  • iPhone has some cool games which can use the accelerometer (So does the Omnia- it also has a accelerometer, lots of established software exists for the Windows Mobile world- eg software emulators that can play all Super Nintendo games, can emulate DOS games without a glitch- Doom engine games and Quake, etc- work fine on a high speed 624mhz Marvell CPU- including software to overclock the CPU to 800mhz and higher.

  • Enough Dude you totally nailed iphone with a railgun in its head. ! iphone vs Omnia ! MMM looks like Garfield Vs Optimus Prime ! Thumbs up pal you taught a lot

  • no point in getting the iphone over this as it doesnt have true gps, just google maps.. no mms no video recording, cant take the battery out. not a top end phone at all, like the omnia or n95

  • I am going to buy this phone!!!

  • are u vietnamese??

  • YES sure

  • Opera 9.5 generally is not far off the Iphone's speed. It does not support multitouch but, as with the Touch Diamond, there are various zoom features that can be utilised via hardware buttons.

Flash is not supported as yet, but this is nothing to do with Opera: Opera DOES support a flash plugin, however Adobe are yet to release Flashlite 3.0 for Windows Mobile (as they have for Symbian). It is penned for release soon though.

  • Can you make a video how long it takes to load a page?

  • I was wondering if your allowed to play a videos in the web browser? For example can you run this web page? If not, is there an alternative to running videos sort of what iphone did with you tube videos.

  • YES, you can, connect youtube and i900 can view video, streaming play

  • Is it possible if you post a video of it working? I just have a doubt about mobile webs working properly till I see with my eyes.

  • I guess you mean Flash. As far as I know Opera Mobile does not YET support Flash. But I hear there are working on it. And FYI: iPhone doesnt support Flash too. But there are other ways to look for example YT videos. You can download a mobile application of YT.

  • Windows Mobile Phone? You are unsing Opera, dont you?

  • YES, you are right.. OPERA BROWSER

  • Do you know where to buy in vietnam? and how much would it cost?

  • The only thing im not liking is how the screen min when it turns, hopefully you can change that. When is this coming out?

  • This is the new concept. Make the phone dont like other phones.

    SO, it is name OMINA

You cannot change it. Just love it only

  • I love it. Anything that is cool is an iphone clone. Steve has really got you fanboys by the balls. Hmm.. bet that will cause some disgusted looks, send me a picture of one .Oh wait, you can't cuz its an iphone!:)

  • oh and 5MP camera.

    Oops iphone just got PWNed!

  • By specs yeah! But if you want a 5mp phone and gps running on windows mobile get the omnia. If you want something fast and something that does not lag all the time get the iPhone

  • i have an iPhone since last year...

now i gonna get this samsung...really nice smartphone...and if you put android on it, it will be better than iPhone...

  • it's already better than the iphone...MMS, better camera, FLASH..

  • my ass

  • i got the iphone 3g....nothing special!

  • why did you get it if you're such a fanboy for this phone?

  • to see what so great about iphone.

  • cool....u know the price?? will they sell in the US?? cam on ban..kekekeke

  • Not at all. Samsung did this long before the iPhone.

  • Actually, it's quite similar to other Samsung phones. Not everything in the iPhone is an Apple first, you know.

  • this is nothing new its the same browser on the HTC touch diamond.... Opera

  • The browser is pretty new, though.

  • ah... vietnamese text... i see...

  • you are right..Vietnam text...cos' I am from Viet Nam

  • Wow. That screen is actual really responsive.

  • Hi

I900 support IE and opera web surfing that support your finger control.

Tap, sweep, touch,...do what ever you want with finger, and just tap in the screen to zoom out, remember with iphone you do it with 2 fingers.

And for the internet connection, it support HSDPA, WIFI, 3G,,,

    Enjoy it

    Tkx

  • You've obviously never used an iphone then, because you can also zoom in and out by double taping with just one finger.

  • YES..you can see it. Cos' the pop up windows will show the message incoming..

  • hey..thanks for posting these videos. I would have one question...can you see your messenger status (logged in/out etc. ) in anyway in the homescreen ? and does it alert if you get a messenger message ?

  • what's the frames per second (fps)?

  • The resolution for camcoder is 640*480 VGA

  • What resolution does it record video at?

    VGA(640x480) or (352 x 288)

and is it 30 fps or 15 fps?

Please reply and thank you for your help.
