  • I met the most educated of them...like I said they were all nice people but their interest, the educated included, don't go beyound phones, cars and the like. A people blessed with this way-above-average resources should have invested on the human resources instead of totally depending on expatriates. The structure doesnt have that kind of motive to build up a nation self-suffciency of expers....

  • inguisitive35 i respect ur opinion but u sort of built it on a hobby.. horse riding is a very nobel sport.. and very very addictive. Shaikh Hamdan rides horses as in interest. His life isn't built around it. Yes some of our educated people are tafheen as you said and all they think about are phones, cars and plate numbers but that's not the majority of them. Yes we have lots of expatriates and we don't enjoy it. Trust me we don't.

  • Garlish...No.WAE is not going anywhere with investing native human resources! I am not happy about that either. Kuwaitis , Omanis, some Saudis are doing way better despite the scarce resources in comparison.
