  • For fk sake those background dudes need to shut the fuck up -.-

  • That sounds stupid and complicated. Make a flexible touch screen phone :D

  • lets see if apple copies these. :)

  • I remember when people thought touchscreens would be stupid because of "accidental press" and fragile glass screen.

And what do you know here we are with a new idea and people think it's stupid. Give it a year or so.

Plus apple will do it and then people are gonna flip out cuz apple it "supreme". I think apple is retarded with all their dumbs closed OS.

  • i wish!! i got One too!!!..........:)

  • amzing!!!

  • no the fact that a hpone can be flexible will be taken from this desing..just keep touchscreen as the controls!

  • nokia morph coming soon................

  • Lets hope the phone locks when its in your pocket. Imagine trying to listen to music...

  • no more cracking your screen when you drop your phone

  • @revfan54 no, you'll just play that embarrassing video...

  • its a cool concept but i dont see this as a practical use as of right now

  • i just dont see what its practical uses are

  • And for those saying gimmick (nokia haters) when samsung releases their devices with the same concept in 201,2 I can guarantee many of you will be hustling to buy in to the concept then. Especially if apple beats everyone to it and ends up taking credit as usual.

  • doesn't a touch screen work like ten times better

  • When you bend it too far and the crap breaks, is it covered by warrenty

  • @dreamihad I don't think so.

  • @dreamihad No it doesn't. Its using a flexible oled display, that is capable of being rolled up, it won't break.

  • thumps up if u saw tees maar khan at 0:38

  • Finnish accent :)

  • nobody hastimeto play with there phones likethis, its cool but very stupid

  • wow, what innovation

  • now this is future thinking!

  • Germans make good stuff. :D

  • @NarutoDatebayo46124 ehm... you mean finnish make good stuff:D nokia is from finland and even the dude speaking is finnish:)

  • this is pointless and it is the first flexible phone so there fore it wont work maybe one day but now it is stupid

  • The functionality of it doesn't seem very realistic other than a cheap gimmick. But the screen looks to be useful for not breaking it easily.

  • the background on the phone looks like minecraft

  • so.. why do we have touchscreens for?

  • Useless? From what I remember, a lot of people said the same thing about touchscreen 10 years ago. Well we see.

  • @nydrastos Yea, but touch screen makes more sense than bending your phone. It's way more accurate for sure. I mean twisting your device vs. sliding your finger down the screen? I don't think this will get that much attention.

  • In your face I PHONE, BLACKBERRY, SAMSUNG and the rest.

  • I bet they would all break...

  • People here see until its nose this has a lot of possibilities! And the best one is that is almost undestructable the Iphone 4 last me until i forgot to take it out of the back of my jean and it broke like glass! wait it was glass what king of stupid makes a glass cellphone?

  • Still looks useless

  • NOKIA ALWAYS SUCKED!!! sorry i just hate nokia all there phones have bad UI and will be wrecked in 2 weeks maximum

  • @cheezo545 Always sucked? Are you aware that nokia and motorolla are the pioneers of the mobile phone world, particularly nokia when it comes to smartphones. Also nokia as well as motorola have some the most durable devices on the market. The symbian UI may be primitive but symbian has a lot of functionality, and last I checked the ui on meego and win7 wasn't half bad.

  • @shikori7 motorola has very good phones and nokia WAS good long ago when it was not making touch phones when it began with touch phones....touch sucked and symbian is laggy and outdated....

  • but will it snap

  • I don't no about a phone cause of the typing but as a music player or for photos pretty cool

  • clever..... but no one will buy it because its a pain in the ass.

  • thats dumb

  • band it like bekham

  • What's the point ?

  • @fazer12779 the point of this device is to eliminate all useless factors of a tablet/phone

if you drop that it's most likely not to break at all since the screen is flexable with the full cover

and can have a coating to make the device fully portable, secure, durable, cost less and have more body mechanics have have better range of motion so we don't stiffen up

  • its such a gimmick.

  • So fat people can sit on their phones now

  • what if you bend too hard!

  • Kinetic ? lol MICROSOFT come on ! :D

  • It's very cool. I would love to have it and try to have my friend to borrow my phone. They would have no idea how to use it lol

  • Nokia is one of the few phonecompanies I still respect. I hope their glory days isn't already counted

  • This creeps me out!

  • but no warranty

  • Good design but will bring lots of after sale service claims for repairs bla bla.....

  • Id buy it [[:

  • This phone looks pretty L E G I T

  • how do you type with it......

  • All I hear is bo la bley andfjff wf dkfk gooodfwnrfkj

  • I keep reading this as "Blend your phone", "No, I love my phone!"

  • @Ravrahn I don't think it will break, they made it good enough it won't. Nokia has to develop this more in design and practiacel use and then it will be more accepted!

  • How is it working with multi-tasking?

  • @Th0m91 You bend it too much, it snaps in half! Then you can run two apps on it!

  • Yeah, control that phone with one hand...

  • This is dumb. And its amplified when they both start talking simultaneously...

  • its all fun and games until the phone snaps in half...

  • This is stupid....

  • hats just retard

  • Thats just stupid. They're trying too hard.

  • @DuckieSwag92 dude its not like they already sell them, its a concept

  • epic fail

  • will it blend?

  • LAME! This already works with most current phones! Go ahead, try it with your phone! It works!

  • not really that futuristic since Samsung has their own flexible display. but definitely a step forwards because this can open up some new gestures for games. like twist the right side to fire, twist the left side to ADS. etc etc

  • Don't try this with your phone

  • But... will it bend?

  • I wish I could actually hear someone speaking.. Both people were talking at once, got really annoying...

  • Really unpractical, but cool...

  • why

  • Am I the only one who read "BLEND your phone"?

  • POINTLESS!!

  • LOL pretty cool but i was waiting on him bending the phone in half n shoving it in his pocket lol

  • Nokia had to play the song that Apple used in their commercial...

  • They make good harware, but the software is laggy and crap.. it's sad :/

  • But will it blend???

  • what were the people from nokia on when they made this...lol why would you bnd it it when you can tuch the screen

  • All it is is just an OLED display(what im thinking) screen is actually flexible and looks amazing.

  • Everyone who thinks this is useless: Man... why would i need this flexibility crap..

    *7-10 years later*

Everyone who thought this was useless: No flexibility functions? I NEEd IT THOUGH!!

Thats usually how it ends up goin, lulz

  • EVERYBODY WHO HAS AN IPHONE, GET A HIPPO CASE! ITS INVINCIBLE :D

  • this product is too over the top.

  • o.0

  • so....how to you text...?

  • But will it blend?

  • @ThirteenthDeam NewFag.

  • We already have touchscreens. Why would we need this flexibility in our phones?

  • It neat, but it doesn't seem all that useful

  • yeah, have fun writing an email with that thing.

this is more stupid than a MacBook Wheel

  • only the display will blend, how about other hardware?

  • it is cool to see it in an ereader, but not in a phone, what's wrong with Nokia?

  • yeah "blend your phone?"

  • @jackozzy hahahaha ....... not

  • its an awesome concept, for me though it would be useless.. I just wish they made un unbreakable phone... Thats why i clicked the video

  • Neat, yeah. But not a chance in hell I'm going to bend my phone instead of touch the screen for more quick and accurate input. Plus they would have to back to plastic screens that scratch easily opposed to glass. No thanks.

  • Could someone tell me what the background music is at the start of this video ? ... i've been trying to find it for ages but with no luck/

  • @Zenithstrife Thomas Newman - Any other name

  • @Zenithstrife Thomas newman yes but not any other name :) Its called American Beauty

  • This is cool, but I see very little practical applications for it.

  • Please stop hating, this is really cool and its just a consept....

  • why the hell would I want to bend my phone, useless

  • Flexible Display, can you bounce it off the ground?...........

  • you just know some retard is going to say "oh let me see it" the snap it right in half

  • Nokia should have just released this. I reckon it would have saved them, even though its a bit of a gimick.

  • It can bend,

    But will it blend?

  • I don't see the point of it.

  • This would have been ground breaking technology 6 years ago.

  • psh that takes too much work fuck that

  • this is so dumb... just touch the screen

  • if it bends to pause play n stuff do u drop it to put it to sleep and slam to shut down?

  • They will need to refine the interface. So far it looks like a gimmick.

I'm going to twist my phone to get to the App menu... great. what if it gets stuck?

  • Yes its great, but touch screen is just quicker!

  • is it just me or has everything just been for show after the keyboard cuz this is useless.

  • That's fucking smart

  • Bend, bend, bend.... snap.

  • Stupid phone from a stupid company. Learn to make proper smartphones first. Crap

  • But...will it bend? :)))))

  • Its just a little too much...

  • If you think that's annoying, wait till you see them input an address on the GPS

  • such a technology. great. why give negative comment. a lot of great features

  • this is genius

  • it actually looks pretty cool. you dont always have to have your finger covering some part of the screen especially when viewing a full screen sized photo

  • ehhh, not necessary on a phone.

  • such waste of resources

  • How do u type on it?

  • So you basically need 2 hands to operate the phone all the time??

  • why is there 26 people talking?

  • your gonna twist the phone a little too far and your gonna bring it in the store in two parts.

  • innovative.. but, must be applied in a better way.

  • am i the only one who thought the phone was flexible?

  • @thatkidushldkno That's what I thought at first..

  • @thatkidushldkno no certainly not :)

  • this device is fucking retarded

  • I just know there will be this idiot somewhere at some point that will think its a great idea to test how far it will bend.

  • Ollld

  • What a terrible idea...

  • @danny123hay this phone is a good idea t could be used for like hydropoleegics or how ever you spell it they could use this phone easily i support it

  • @TheReterded Hydroplegic? I think you probably mean quadriplegic? And I suppose it has potential for them, but even the guy demonstrating it seemed to have put in a fair bit of effort just to get it to work. Maybe if they can develop the technology, but a touch screen is definitely more practical for the time being.

  • they sholud focus on making phones that shoot lasers

  • so do i have to bend it to type? cause that seems hard

  • It's a nice concept, but I don't think it would appeal as much to the general public. However, I find this could be an innovative use for the blind.

  • the actual phone doesnt bend does it?

  • It's a new concept, yes, but I don't find it practical at all. It's of a waste of time really.

  • When I saw this video I thought it said "Blend Your Phone". lol

  • But the real question is, Will it bend? YES!

  • well it bend?

  • I thought you could fold the phone, but they disappoint me with this crap. Most useless piece of technology I've seen in a long time.

  • according to steve jobs, 'it's only good for demo.'

so not gonna be a bang like touch screen.

  • That's cool... but will it blend?

  • @knucklez92

    The Motorola Defy is waterproof.

  • You could pick up some serious chicks with this thing.....

  • What is the point?

  • Imagine your iPhone doing that...

  • This might be fun at first, but then you'd probably want a different phone.

  • Nokia... doing shitty smartphones.

  • Poor Nokia

  • why would i want to bend it when i could just touch it

  • Will it blend?

  • @Nazrat84 XAAxaxxaxaxaxa thought of the same! :D
