I have been in worse than solitary confinement, it's called observation. I spend only a few days in it without food or water. If that is not torture then let me do it to you and see what you say. I have a solid psyche and a healthy body they do it knowingly to feed of you like predators do to prey. Luckily I railed all the guards with psychological warfare. This is NO myth this IS torture.

Sadly, some people live better lives in prisons than outside of prisons. For example, the homeless - struggling to find food, water and even shelter. Denied the basic life needs. While prisoners, they get warm meals, a bed, sunlight for an hour a day, etc.

I believe that the people SHOULD serve their time. HOWEVER, isolation doesn't show them right from wrong, isolation causes insanity. Hell, i can't even stand sitting in the waiting room at the doctors office for more than 15 minutes.
