he prob warms up with 135 , i weigh 135 and its my warm up and my bench is only at 195 though so far so he is still a bit stronger then me but when u train for strength u dont wanna do low weight for too many reps because if u raise your endurance u loose max horse power or high weight, u gatta find the balance so i would bet he only does it 8 to 10 times but could do many more reps u know
yeh i do my sets whit 135 plus also.. 195 is pretty gud for your body weight bro! i was doing this 135x8,140x6,145x4,155x6 than next week i increased the weight by 5lbs every time but when i got up to doing 170x6 times i was always able to do about 4 times and this was like 2 weeks ago and i got stronger but im stuck idono wut to do to increase my strength more
@statenitaliag21 yea i pyramid up in weight now, im not benching that much more than i use to, in the ball park of 250, but i start with 135 then 185, 205, 225, then a massive drop set starting at 175 dropping to 165 then by increments of 20 down to just the bar

then i was around 150. now i'm 160 putting up 225 or i was before i got surgery last week on my knee so i wont be able to when they let me start working out again. as far as having a spotter goes, i normally have one but when i did that i had put up 210 at my schoo'ls weight room and i knew i could get 205, i decided to go down 5 lbs just in case, i never try new weight without a spotter though
heh well i knew i could get it before i filmed it but if i couldn't get it up i just roll in down my stomach cuz if i let the weights slide off my mom would kill me if i cracked the floor lol...its not quite heavy enough where i have to have a spotter if i can't get it up

and 185 plus 20 is not 195, its 205.

then i was around 150. now i'm 160 putting up 225 or i was before i got surgery last week on my knee so i wont be able to when they let me start working out again. as far as having a spotter goes, i normally have one but when i did that i had put up 210 at my schoo'ls weight room and i knew i could get 205, i decided to go down 5 lbs just in case, i never try new weight without a spotter though
