This is fake! why? becuase i tried it on my blue version, and it didn't work! also when he restarts its a nidoran fighting a gengar, but in the orginal R/B/Y its a jigglypuff fighting a gengar! a nidoran fighting a gengar is in fire red, leaf green!

when you beat the last guy or something that u needed there(don't remember anymore) you have to go to some room where are still people left and lose battle, and you will teleport to pkmn center and still have your s.s ticket and you can board even after you've beaten the game. :D

I got to the truck another way...After gaining cut, I went back to a cabin and intentionally blacked out in a battle...I went back to the ship after getting Surf and it haden't left, because I didn't get off normally...I was disappointed, though. Mew is not in/under the truck!

There was another way of getting back to the ss anne. when you get cut from the capitan you fight other trainers and you must lose! This way you will be back at the pokecenter but the ship shuld be still there!

No I saw some Video where the guy opened Pokémon fr/lg with some programm where you can see all events, hidden items etc. on the sprites but the Truck sprite had no event on it so I think it's just an easteregg... the rumours abot mew beeing under the truck if you move it with strenght are false, since it's the truck has no event. I even tried it myself with strenght and cut but nothing happend...

Isn't Poke'mon Green that Version that was in Japan only? If it was, then I wouldn't be suprised if it was true. The Japanese always usually keeps the good stuff for themselves. I've seen it happen with things like Kingdom Hearts Final Mix versions and such.

Yes Green was only released in Japan but it wouldn't make sense if ONLY green had this easteregg since Green and Red were released together as "bundle"* just like Red was released with Blue as "bundle"* in America and Europe so I'd think if the easteregg excists at all then it would be in Green AND Red wouldn't it?

If it isn't working for you in Red version try this, It worked for me.

Face the water and save.

Before it says "Saving do not turn power off.. etc" press Select and the direction you are facing, In my case right.

Then continue on normally.

The trainer should be facing the water and not the sailor.

I'm not 100% sure if this works for everyone though.

Ok so i did what some people said and finally it worked the only disappointment was that there was no mew....Just have to talk to the sailor and walk towards the water for about 10-15 sec and then save and the character will face to the right once the game restarts to that checkpoint....

If your using playing the Blue version, then it will do that instead, Red saves the direction he's facing.
