@Nobody277 No, No! I agree. I have seen many many productions of Much Ado, and been in three myself. But when I saw him as Benedick I understood lines that my brain had rushed over. I heard things I had never heard before. He has SUCH an understanding of Shakespeare and he NEVER throws ONE word away. So many actors do. I work with High School kids on Shakespeare and always refer them to David Tennant's Shakespearean acting. He's BRILLIANT. A true natural.
They chose god people to read these sonnets- really make them sound like the love poetry so many of them are. Check out sonnet 130 with Alan Rickman sometime if you need convincing.
I'm not only liking this for the obvious reasons, but your description of the video made me crack up!
