Domo arigato for your comments & pointing people to lyrics. You're right - most Scots do sing "my dear" nowadays. However Robert Burns wrote several drafts of Auld Lang Syne which contain the word "my jo" (Jo = Joy) The electricscotland website has a scan of the original published version with Jo rather than Dear. Jo also features in the Burns song "John Anderson my Jo" & in "The Lea Rig". Best wishes from an Auld traditional Scot!

i dont want to critisize but Its auld langs syne my dears not joe cause all us traditional scots sing it that way but she has a beautiful voice
