I wonder if Kenneth Graham had a hand in this one. I met him at last year's Houston Arcade Expo, where he explained how things were with programming arcade games including Mystic Marathon, how paranoid the management was about giving credit to individual programmers, and about pinball games.
Interesting thing about this game. I seem to recall that on certain levels you could see the Sinistar "lion" floating by in the background if you paid attention.
This was one of the very simple LD games, could've been ported to a PS2. Why wasn't it, and was there politics? I think it took about 3 different companies to make the arcade version (Williams, Pioneer, and Computer Creations INC - and maybe one more/ LFB Networks?) Who is LFB you ask... Lawyers For Bankruptcy on the behave of CCI. Wow
I remember a game like this....I played at cedar pointe...it had a section where you look like you are about to run into a wall but actually the track does a 90 degree straight up an you ride up the wall...it was a riding game to the cabinet...it had some name like quasar or something I have been trying to find it on the net for days....I think that you could race against other players too...
I remember this. Spent tons of money on it at the local pizza shop. Eventually one of the disks (there were 5, I was the only one who would power it on to play it so I watched the boot screens) went bad. I loved this game, and i-robot.
Could you re-upload it n a better resolution?

With OpenGL this would be a cinch to recreate disc-less.

Yeah, whenever I spotted that Sinistar "lion" I always had a bit of a panic attack.

I dunno if I'm right, but I remember this being very much faster when I played it at an arcade in Glasgow as a kid.

Visually this is something of a prehistoric Audiosurf.

This was one of the rarer LD games. Fairly challenging for the time as well.
