I grew up with both Sonic and Mario, not sure which one I played more, either Sonic 1 on Genesis or Super Mario World and All-Stars on the SNES. I think the Mario games, but I'm not sure. I'm too young to have played either in the heyday of the 16-bit era, though, but I was raised on these 16-bit wonders.

I grew up on the GBA. I remember when I had to choose between Super Mario Advance 1 and 2, the remakes of Super Mario 2 and Super Mario World respectively. I had no knowledge on either game at all, so I just chose Advance 2 because it meant it was newer.... That has to be one of the prouder decisions I've made in my life.

all game designers care about today is just graphics.not the music, not the replay value, not the quality, just the graphics. a lot of kids say "this is better then this, because it has better graphics" wrong, just because it has good graphics doesnt mean its a better game. the things that make a memoriable game is its replay value, its gameplay etc.
