  • 4:00-4:43 Complete Wash my ASS! which way is he referring to with the 5-9 lbs difference?; heavyer or lighter. That is noticable, especially when it comes to NOT esxeeding the max gross weight with too much fuel and/or payload. Weight is that important in an airplane

  • good video. i think for shorter flights AGE85 Aviation Grade Ethanol could play a big role. it might not have as much BTU as 100LL and G100UL. but it burns cooler, keeps your engine and fuel system clean and i would not worry about pre detonation. not even in the more expensive high performance engines. if AGE85 is anything like E85 it will handle very high compression. it may only be rated at 100 to 105 octane but it reacts more like 110 or 112 octane fuel. i use E85 every day and love it.

  • Great Vid!

  • Carshooter: there's no need to decontaminate those components, because aircraft don't have catalytic converters that would be effected by residual lead. As the video said, you can even blend G100UL with 100LL.

  • This is incredibly important information for all GA pilots! Great Video!

  • Will the EPA require that all lead contaminated systems be replaced when this or some other replacement is found? Lead contamination will be in all the systems from the refinery to the aircraft.

  • Cool!
