I HEARD THIS SONG SO MANY TIMES BY DIFFERENTS PEOPLE BUT NOTHING LIKE THIS...BRO..MY HEART,,,MY HEART CRY EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO THIS VERSION...TO ME IS THE BEST VERSION...
This is not Sinatra's picture. It's Perry Como. But Sinatra recorded this song during the years Ava Gardner had left him. His most famous on the album titled "Where Are You" was "I'm a fool to want you". Music was arranged by Gordon Jenkins.
This Is Definitely Frank Sinatra.. This Recording Evolved From His Exquisite "Where Are You Album. By The Way It Was Recorded During His Volcanic Relationship And Marriage To Ava Gardner. If You Listen To This Album Its A Great Triumph Both Melodically And Vocally. Its Spurns My Fire To Love Woman Even More.
Horrible!!!! Sinatra. sang this for Gordon Jenkins for the Capital Records album titled "Where Are You?" during the years when Ava Gardner walked away from him. Nat King Cole sang it in the 1955 film Autumn Leaves with Joan Crawford.
Sinatra is fabulous - but pls remove the Como picture - it brings out the teacher in me - think of all the misinformed youth of the global internet's reach who will forever be caught in wrong answers because of you...oh wait, is this a trivia test?
@klotzstang Hmmm, read up on Como & Sinatra - see where they were born and raised! No criticism of Perry Como - he was popular when I grew up ( w/"grownups" as still was Sinatra) - but Perry Como never had the adoration Sinatra did (ever see film of girls in the audience at Beatle's concerts - tepid behavior compared to the girls that attended Sinatra's concerts when he was a young man.
@cherokee1002 i think u r right!!!!!! its Parry Como!!!!!! its not Frank Sinatra! plz listen tembral coilors!!! n Frank singing this song another way !.............

Never have I heard Sinatra with so much dispair in his beautiful voice. This song aches of loneliness...
I actually prefer Keely Smith's take on this wonderful song.

Sinatra's voice just has an effect on you..

Matt Monro has the best version of this song. The flow, pace, background, and most of all the unmatched voice.
Matt Monro's version is a must, because his commanding voice really makes you feel the emotion into the song.

Good lord, you can feel Ava walking away from him. And that is why Sinatra remains the greatest singer that ever lived. We miss you, Frank.

@BarrySingsSwing Yes, Frank Sinatra sings this beautiful, but nothing compares Johnny Mathis version.
Johnny Mathis has the most beautiful voice in the whole world. Berit.
