I remember getting various versions of the bootleg in 1987 and buying the official cd on the day of release all those years later in 1994. Fond memories!!
Oh well, I can always listen to "Bob George" via my external hard-drive ; which was obtained via U Torrent... (my copy of "The Black Album" ; not my hard-drive). Infact, I'm doing it now...
The irony being that this album was probably the most bootlegged recording of the late 20th Century. We all had it on tape years before this official release.
who'd have thought "his royal badness" could go on to be that aloof?
And I say that, even though at this point in his career he was going by a symbol no one on Planet Earth could pronounce and painting the word "slave" on the side of his cheek!
I have this on tape....Being a big Prince fan I waited thru this film for the ad break. Im pretty sure it was early hours of a saturday morning 1994 because the Word was on before this film.
Cool. The day before I was born too.

@SozLike
And it's still being "bootlegged" and downloaded, partly because it's unavailable in shops. When will companies learn?

@welshfilmbuff Ol' Shortarse is so parochial. He doesn't even like to see lyrics sites printing his songs.
