Donato Giancola is one of my idols, so this video is like Christmas and my birthday together. Excellent job on the cinematography as well. It is hard to adequately show the beauty in the love that an artist feels for his art.

@OhayoTokyo It's probably some sort of medium (matt or gloss) to seal the pencil so it won't disappear or scrub away under the paint.

Joan of Arc was transgender. That is why she was so revered by the people. She was burned at the stake for wearing her armor which was considered men's attire and to fit to be worn by women.

This is the second time i have watched this and i am AGAIN sitting here with tears in my eyes. This man is truly a living legand. Screw ALL photo shop users, this guy is a true master, the kind of artist that can reach deep within you and pull on your heart strings and bring a stir in your souls.

Once agian you have rattled my heart and soul sit. I tip my hat to you, hand my paint brush over to you and say that i am not worthy of being in the same spacce as you.

@Givicencio The effect is supposed to be reminiscent of flames, which is symbolic of Joan being burned at the stake for her beliefs.
