Maybe someone has mentioned this already...a common misconception with the Tool album you mention is that its name is pronounced "Anemia," like the medical condition. It's actually more like "Enema," because there simply aren't enough letters to give it the extra syllable.

stephen o'malley's also a part of sunn o))). you should review their new album Monoliths and Dimensions. i'm tempted to get it but idk if i should because i'm trying to figure out if drone/doom metal is actual talent or just random distorted notes.

Sunn's old stuff was more endurance test than talent.

The new cd is really really good. More than just a typical drone album for sure.
