  • Nice clips.

  • @xorcst well these were uploaded Aug.2009 so this was his freshmen year I saw many of his games and he is a lot better than this now.

  • Im pretty sure pearland won texas 5a state game

  • Brown + Bergeron + Shead + HIlls + Whittaker + Monroe= Fierce Rushing attack OAN one mo I forgot,, Gray... ;)

  • Hook 'em!

  • no prospect is a "sure" bet. limelight and ego can ruin the best talent. thats where this guy is different. he is a very good kid and very humble. great work ethic and has competed against the best of texas high school talent. he's in all likelihood going to do some damage at the next level (and probably beyond)

  • @JBsZ06

i couldnt agree more you need talent AND you need a good attitude and good work ethic to be successful.

  • Though he's a 5 back, I doubt he'll do well in college. A lot of his runs in this highlight are to the OUTside, and the Backers in NCAA are a lot faster than HS kids, and can chase him down, stoping him from gaining those huge yards. But then again, a lot of the highlights are of the same school, same game.

    What do y'all think?

  • future of the longhorns im soo jayed

  • Some of those safeties look kinda of scared

  • if i was a coach i woulda recruited him from the first play thers no sound and i can still her him crack dude

  • guyer gonna get whooped

  • Shoulda gone to Alabama. better suited

  • @htownjock He went to Texas because he is an instate Texas prospect, and he wouldn't be starting right out the gate at Alabama.

  • he looks alot like AP, texas should change their system for this guy

  • *unlike the rest of the backs in his class*

  • I am a buckeyes fan and I can't deny this kid the credit he deserves great balance, vision, leg drive, great acceleration, not the fastest or biggest but gets it done with his frame and isn't afraid to take or dish out a hit like the rest of the backs in his class and that's why he is the # one back but does anyone know what division if he is playing d1 Texas ball he is a monster but I heard it's d3 witch is not bad

  • Molcom Brown is in 5A, the largest and most talented division in Texas. He will be leading the Steele Knights in the 5A Div. 2 Texas state championship.

  • @Theiceburg13 hes a 5 STAR back..think dan herron just a 1000 times better :) HOOK EM.. btw malcolm brown plays in the best division of high school football in the country..5AAAAA!

  • how old they are

  • this boy only needs one small gap and hes gone. forget lasco, this guy can take it to the house without big ass holes.

  • Beast!!

  • jdaboy look at his line this year its by far the worst liine we have had an yet he still breakin runs for 40 an 80 yards its the kids vision so shut cause u dont no what ur talkin bout

  • YEA I WIT JDABOY WIT OUT DHAT LINE HE WUD B GETTIN LIT UP ER PLAY....... JUS LIKE WITHOUT OUR LINE MALIK NORMIN WULD 2

  • in my opinion he just has a GREAT line i mean come on his holes are open for 7 yards and his speed is wack. Abilenes Hershel Sims has great speed and vision

  • @Jdaboy2009 Every play on this vid he breaks at least 2 tackles. It's not just the O-Line.

  • damn, any guy who can run into someone at nearly full speed, but still keep on running for a touchdown, now THAT gets me excited! HOOK 'EM

  • Texas can produce quality backs. Give me a big name back from Alabama who's done well in the NFL?

  • @Saberek Shaun Alexander wasn't a qaulity back to you!!!???

  • he just committed to texas tonight..its official

  • Come to Austin!!!!

  • whats the songs name?!

  • it says hes leaning towrds texas but why texas when they are a passing team and he is a tough brusing every down back? maybe a team that runs a one back offense... that is if he wants to shine at least

  • @SECISBEAST Texas is gonna run a pro style offense now with Gilbert. They want to run the ball more.

  • @ZwienerZ i thought gilbert was a pretty good passer?

  • @SECISBEAST He is, but since Gilbert isn't a mobile QB, Texas isn't gonna do their shot gun offense with 4 and 5 receivers. This is just what I've heard from Austin radio and Mack Brown.

  • @ZwienerZ i honestly think if they did the shotgun with 4 to 5 receivers he could pick a defense apart anyways... it may not be this year but the year after when he has thte offense down they could very well do the spread and anyone can become athletic if they work at it. not to mention whether they do spread or pro style they will pass it more than they run it and brown will have limited amount of shine. just my opinion.

  • at 2:25 is one of the best plays on here

  • reminds me of Jonathan Dwyer

  • Nice Video Check out Nate Green Jr Highlights

  • Coming to Bama dis Monday! Roll Tide!

  • number 1 according to Scout

  • Top 5 of FSU, Bama, TCU, OU, Texas

  • he destroyed champion high school hahahaha!!!!!

  • RTR!!

  • The Longhorns have verbals from the #1 rated guard (Flowers), the #3 rated tackle (Greenlea), just signed the #1 rated center (Espinoza, and the #1 rated lineman overall (Westerman) in the class of 2011 just gave them a verbal. Go to Texas and just walked through the holes into the endzone man lol

  • Texas boys represent. HOOK' EM.

  • Hey Malcolm, just wanted to say, hope you enjoy your stay in Norman for Junior Day. After Demarco leaves. You can sure be the headliner for the Sooners for the years to come. That is only if you commit to OU.

  • Come to Arkansas, Malcolm! You will have the opportunity to play right away and be cheered on by the whole state of Arkansas!

  • Come to lawerence Kansas man, you'll have the best 4 years of your life. Rock chalk.

  • i wanna see a highlight video from this year!

  • This should be a good game Round rock vs him next yr 2010 season...

  • I can definitely see the comparisons to Peterson. Texas running backs (instead of Texas QBs) this year with he and Green. He just powers and slides through tackles. Not really a speed guy, but it doesn't matter. Good to hear about his work off the field.

  • Lol at that post

  • It's funny how the Sooner fans hate all things Texas unless it's one of our best recruits.

  • Saw Malcolm in the game against Austin Lake Travis in 2009 playoffs. He seems like a man playing amongst boys. Had they kept giving the ball to him on that last drive I have no doubts that they'd still be in the playoffs.

  • AGREED

  • is very impressive, i thnk he will b the # 2 back in his class rite bhind A Green.... class 2011 is lookin sharp

  • This was his sophmore year rite?

  • yep, im in class of 2011 and I was entering junior year of two a days when this video was posted before class of 2011's junior year of highschool.

  • well i go to steele with malcom and im in the class of 2012 and i know malcolm personally and he would be an amazing contribution to any college. he has an amazing work ethic and grades and behavior are never a problem with him. sooo good luck malcolm

  • Hope he comes to OU. Can you say Adrian Peterson #2

  • He is big time

  • He's impressive, reminds me of a young Adrian Peterson, same jersey # and everything.. The line opens some good holes, but he definitely takes advantage of everything given to him plus more.. Love to see him play for the Sooners!! Gundy is a helluva RB Coach!

  • The kid looks pretty special with great feet, vison, and he explodes through those gaps in the D! My SunaH Boys are hot on his tail too...!

  • man his lead blockers make big holes for him!!
