No speed, no intelligence, just raw destructive power and the need to kill. Davis Bloome was a great addition to Doomsday, just Doomsday needed a bit more...doom.

The whole point was clark was not ready to fully fight Doomsday. I wanted a big brawl too but the fact is he's not Superman yet. So they bury Doomsday only to be unleashed in the future then a full fledged Superman can take him on.
