I own the Pink Bullets version for the Dreamcast and I can see from this video why the changes were made. The enemy bullets look too similar to the explosions which looks like it would make things unfairly tough.
i just got pink bullets on NG and this is now level 2. im pleasently surprised with this game, it plays a lot better than i expected, it doesnt look quite as good as you expect it to when viewed on a full size screen though, it seems like they used that many colours on screen, theres a lot of shading used which becomes more obvious the bigger the picture is. cool game though, plays like a mix of Last Resort and R-Type.
wOW it's Gradius 3 again! I wish they didn't have stuff in thebackground though makes it hard to see the bullets and stuff thats y Gradius is the bomb cuz its in space.
apparently they made a follow up of the game with the same title and content, but changed the colour of the bullets to pink. They called the game Last Hope: Pink Bullets.
@ItsOver9000and10 they changed the bullets to pink an i think they adjust the difficulty or added customizations to difficulty i dont have the game just what i heard maybe the original poster can answer
@ihearduliekgoatse might want to verify but i think Dux was made by NGdev..they have there own distribution company HuCast apparently ngdev an redspot had a minor disagreement on how to distrubute the game so NgDev decided they would try an distribute it on there own(at first anyways) under the HuCast label...i heard they patched things up though...
if people had worried less about hype & dvd`s back @ lauch then the dreamcast would have gone on to greater things and this disscussion would be mute.some people are Never Happy!!
of course its that simple , if you do not like a game ,a system ? then play something else , or learn how to be a home brewer your self, and who ever thumbed down my last comment ? are you saying then that games should all be graphic lead & even if a game has great gameplay you automatically dissmiss it because the graphics are not shiny enough? if that was the case then video games would have died with "Pong" (cont)
dont care how many bits , if the games a good one then thats fine, its not all about bits an bytes y`know, plus if you dont like it ? well dont play it, simple...
It's actually not that simple. And don't worry I don't play it. The point is how many games have you seen and or played that resemble this from the 80's to today? I'm looking for something different from homebrew developers (And don't get smart, if I knew how- I would) something that makes me say wow this game has everything that the commercial game missed; graphics, options etc. Bottom line this game does not harness the power of the DC nor did most of Sega's Library. Now is the chance. Make it
You're right Border Down is done well. None the less the concept has been done. where's the inovation in homebrew. A Hockey, Soccer, or Wrestling game would be nice and, because it's homebrew it should be better than the garbage we recieved from developers. That's the reason why anyone would want homebrewers around for innovation ellaboration and evolution. Not the status quo.
Can anyone make a hori that isn't fucking r-type?

Why are all the NEW Dreamcast games 16bit garbage. That system has so much capability come on developers. Look up WWF Wrestlefest and DO IT!
