TYT is commentary of a national level. If you or I lived in the guys area who said that, we would need to consider if we want him out because of it. Thanks, thats the point. Nobody these days is telling guys not to take it in the anus. Thats their business. Defining marriage is the States business. Liberal States, such as Ca, decided a definition of the word marriage. It does not exclude gays from marrying, it defines marriage to be a man and woman. There is an extremely beautiful woman on Fox, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who was married to the gay mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom. Gays are free to marry. Get over it.

Could have fooled me. The point is, they are not being discriminated against, they can do the same thing as everybody else, "marry the opposite sex". Some people think multiple wives is OK, nobody says you cant live with several women, but, its illegal to marry them. We all make our sacrifices. It is just "the definition".

"it shouldn't matter" but it used to matter. Class distinctions, race distinctions, religious distinctions. The "definition" has changed many times to accommodate changing attitudes about whose love is legitimate. This is just another one of those changes. Saying that gay people have the right to marry (providing it's to the opposite sex) is just a demonstration of how the legitimacy of gay relationships is ignored. People aren't going to just "deal with" that.

He felt goverment should only be involved in marriage in legal matters. He truely would have tried to seperate church and state. I am gay and felt this was the best answer for me.

Try to keep in mind all of the progress that has been made. It wasn't so long ago that statements like that was the norm and nobody cared and it probably would have gotten laughs. Being gay was a crime not that long ago.
