How to properly put on a wig.

I could totally hang out with this girl. Adorable. She took it slower than a lot of the videos, even if the lighting is bad. This will be perfect for my daughter's crappy corpse bride wig since it is heavy yarn and has a poor loose knit built-in cap. Of all of the methods, this is the one that will really give the most grip. Where do you get wig pins, though? I will have to use long "bobbie slides" (not bobbie pins or hair pins) from Target, etc. From Goody.

@Rosy23 It depends on where you buy them from. You can find them for all different places, ebay is a good place to look. I think this one was around $20.

ur right about the bobby pin never to put it in ur mouth cause in beauty school where i went they used to yell at us b/c we got used to trying to use the pin XD soo they made us find a tehcnique on using it without ur mouth lol but keep up the good work ur doing the wig tutorial very good ^^

Nope. You put the pins through the foundation of the wig and arrange the hair over the pins.

Ah, that wig is not mine. It is a wig I was making for a friend. Therefore I would not use it in a video.

And you don't need to tell me about bangs. Unfortunatley, the only wig I own have bangs. That's why I go to a school where we have a giant stock of very expensive, properly made wigs.

Although, here's my number one hate about cosplay: If you're cosplaying a character with like.. Green hair, your eyebrows are OBVIOUSLY not going to match, so it's like: jaf;lskdjfa;s

xD Eyebrows not matching is the most annoying thing ever, it doesn't stop a cosplay from looking good it just.. In every aspect annoying. Even to me..

Having brown hair and trying to cosplay Misa is sometimes no bueno with the eyebrows.

Actually, most people in real life don't have eyebrows that match their hair color. My eyebrows are a couple shades darker than my hair, but I dye my hair darker to match. If I really wanted to, I would block out my eyebrows and re-draw them on with a light pencil, but that's a pain and that's not what my tutorial was on.

And yeah, blocking eyebrows = best. Still, you can't prevent them from occasionally popping out.
