This is one of my fave acts of the show. I saw them live when they came to Adelaide in 2006. It wasn't Olga performing then, but a girl named Irina (I think?). And they left the handbalancing act out of the show for some reason! I was so disappointed! :(

I'm pretty sure all the speech in Cirque du Soleil shows is completely made up. They use influences from various languages, however.

I don't speak the language, so I can't confirm this as solid fact, but I've heard that its Romany, the language of the Gypsies. There are some words that sound VERY Slavic, (to me, anyway) though, like Slatko -- meaning sweet. It funny, though. I think a great many people would rather keep the mystique alive by not knowing the translation. One of Cirque's most phenomenal traits, IMO.  There's so much multicultural influence, you can't help but be awed by the human goodness.

I fell in love with Anton since the time i saw this show, and I have seen another two of them, this is still my favorite.

I don't know how you can COMPARE Cirque shows. Each one has unique components. Like how are you supposed to rate something like Dralion and compare it to "O"? Dralion is a Chinese based show while "O" is centered around water. Each one is unique. And... I dare you to say that to Olga as well as the Atherton twins (who perform Aerial Straps). I hope you seriously don't call yourself a true Cirque fan.

Ahhhh dang. Ever since I saw this show on Bravo like...what? Four, five years ago? It's been my favorite.

She's so talented. I'd love to be able to be at that sort of physical excellence. And not to mention to have that sort of imagination that Cirque Du Soleil has...

(And fyi, I've always had the biggest crush on Anton Chelnokov...XD...he made Varekai for me. :) I blame him for my beautiful taste in men now. ;P)

This is my second favorite Cirque show, the first being Dralion. Everything about Varekai just gives me a feeling of calmness whenever I watch it, especially this song and Vocea =)

wow! All I can say to that... except that most contortionists I've seen are just hideous and unnatural. She is completely different. She is beautiful and graceful, every movement is controlled and deliberate, not choppy and painful looking. She is extremely talented! ^_^
