I'd have to say your engine must of taken some serious beatings in its life and you might want to replace some parts or buy a whole new LS1 for 5,000 because that's just bad man especially after all those parts. Even my 100,000 94 Camaro with an intake only has done more. I mean I really love your car and video I just feel bad about the numbers! Still sweet though 5 stars!
Personally I don't like the look of taking the ramair sticker and putting it on an aftermarket lid but to each his own. My comment is more towards the de-screened maf... there is NO documented gains from descreening your maf and stock mafs are good for up to 500rwhp! No need to do it, its an unecessary risk I've found grass in my maf screen.. anyway not trying to sound like a dousche but I figured you deserved fair warning. otherwise I love the car!
Ya I agree. Deff turn the music all the wayoff for the actual dyno run. Every video of a tuned v8 like this one is a sound video!!! Post a picture of the results, thats kool. But i want to hear that baby purr.
its not about the sound its the fact he's showing what the car made this isnt an exhaust vid this is a dyno vid. Theres a differnce in words, for easy learning one means sound-exhaust, the other power-dyno.
That's actually about average hp for a catback and lid only car, considering the mileage. 115k is the break in period for these motors!
