  • love the wayne newton albums. i have all of his 70`s releases.

  • Wow, what a great Mancini collection. I noticed that some of the plastic LP sleeves were from the Vinyl Museum.

I used to buy LP's from the Vinyl Museum in Toronto (or was it in Mississauga?) until the early 1990's. I seem to remember that the store closed, but hopefully the owner discovered eBay and has managed to sell his remaining stock to an international market.

Vinyl is very hot on eBay, particularly jazz, exotica, space age, soundtracks, certain classical music, rock, punk, etc.

  • Thanks for the nice comments! Any time i see a mancini i dont have i pick it up. Lots of times from the $1 bin! Each album is really good with lots of great songs!

bluenazz its been 10yr since a very religious Peter Dunn closed all his stores....and waited on a Florida beach....for the end.....on the eve of Y2K ! Religious foolishness for sure!

  • What an interesting collection. I see Mancini all the time in my travels and I have a few of the common ones like Charade, Peter Gunn, Pink Panther. I had no idea the amount of albums he's put out. Wayne Newton looks all of 16 on most of his covers. He's like Dick Clark...never really aged. Fun Vid VE!

  • LOL! I love the little button making an appearance! The Henry Mancini collection is fabulous. I love the Peter Gunn one. I have that. I need to get the Pink Panther! You have a mind boggling collection, for certain!

  • Great Mancini collection! I really enjoy a lot of his music. I liked seeing those old Peter Dunn's Vinyl Museum sleeves as well!

  • Thanks! I agree about Mancini! I have only a few of his movie soundtracks...he did so many. I have most of the popular ones,so its getting hard to find the more obscure soundtracks. The Mr Lucky cover is probably one of the most bizzare images on a record ever!

  • very cool

although a good percantage of those were familiar

to me.its amazing to see them 1 after another, henry mancini's output was huge.he was very talented man
