@Mrkti Hi, I'm not enraged by your perspective, just a little perplexed that you don't hear the emotion. Maybe bcos it was recorded in the 80's, when we were surrounded by over-produced music. 1 way of showing emotion in a ballad back then, was stripping it back (this one still like the starry night) - different from the thousands of power ballads around at the time, to hear the subtle changes in the voice - the vast ranging R&B vocal ad-libs we now hear in mainstream weren't heard then. :-)
