  • Thank You Very Much! If you would like to see more please visit our website. We would love to help you with your model railroad, or answer any questions you might have.

  • This could be one of the coolest home layouts I've ever seen. I love how you have a modern city city part where model builds mold into a painted backgound and how many options you set your self up with traco wise! Also the raised track on retainong walls looks absolutely realistic and I love it. If I could never think up a layout for my next project, this would be the one to duplicate.

  • Thank you! We kept it around 2.75%.

  • Thank you! This is a private layout we built for a DR. in Louisville KY. There is another video of it under "INCREDIBLE!!!"...

  • super nice. Incredible detail.

  • Gorgeous trestle! Delightful to see. Thanks Pop! The greenery is fantastic too, as is the lighting. I also like how you've "dirtied" things up a bit. Too many models are too pristine. Your work is definitely the best I've seen on YouTube.

  • Awesome detail

  • increadible

  • This layout is 10' x 20', or 200 square feet. Thank you all for the wonderful comments, we are making another video of this same layout. It will be up soon.

  • How big is that?

  • Very nice!!! Tons of excellent work there. You should be proud.

Just one criticism if you won't be unhappy with it...the J1's chuff needs to run at twice the rate you have it set for. It is running at half the rate of the driver rotations.

  • Pops, saw your thread on the MRR forum. Compliments to you on the excellent scenery work. Trackwork looks nearly flawless. Code 83? Structures are also weathered realistically. Nice touch on having vines and/or shrubs growing on the mortar of the structures. Something so many modelers forget to do. Please post the details here and the MRR forum. Great work!

  • Thanks, yes it is code 83 with shinohara and atlas turnourts controlled from three seperate control panels by push button with turnout position feedback.

  • Very nice!
