GET the last version of SAM BROADCASTER (FULL) on my channel! it is probably the best program for making a radio station on internet!

I have seen some people integrate "Skype" to do this.. I would search "Skype and Sam broadcaster" to see how they did this as I have not done so myself. But yes it can be done.

can you do live internet talk radio, speaking to a person who is on a phone live to air?

I saw a demo of a guy speaking into a mic but using a mobile phone to hear the person at the other end. This seems ridiculous.

Can you have live talk to air just using the mic and headphones as per normal radio? thanks

@suavehotguy24 its the most "Stable" Ive seen so far. As for the best? I guess that would depend on what you are doing with your stream. To automate music, schedules, advertisment ect... Sam works very well. I have been able to load SAM with playlist and leave streaming and unattended for a week at a time without it missing a beat.

can this software compress my vocals? I don't want to use it to broadcast, but someone told me they used this for compression of their vocals

@HakerzTM Sam will compress any audio source input you feed it because in order to "stream" the signal it needs to be in a compressed form. IE 128kbs @ 44.1

Now...with that being said I wouldnt use it for that purpose.. Download a copy of Audacity for free, search for Audacity on google, easy to find.. works great and it has a built in compressor along with some other great effects built right in. You can also record with this program as well. Good Luck.. Hope this helps

@jay19894 Search "DJ TOOLS" or "DJ SOUND EFFECTS" in google and you will find all kinds of effects you can use in SAM, make sure they are in wav. or mp3 format. You can search ebay for the same and youll find people selling cds with hundreds of effects all ready to go.. could save you alot of "search" time :)

it says to me windows file association whats that help !!!!!

@mrjDbug check and make sure files are MP3 or wav. file mp4 formats often come up with this error

can you still use sam to broadcast but sound output from line in such as if i want to use dj decks??

@markybyeah... Simplest way to accomplish this would be to buy an inexpensive mixer, run both dj decks into mixer.. you could also add a mic or any other audio source. Run your output from the mixer to your PC and run thru sam with you mic in the lock position... Anything that goes thru the mixer will be streamed to your servers.

@1BlAz3D I have used SAM for years and dj ed thru many online games.. If your breaking up I have to believe its your setting and not the program.. Alot of people stream with "WINAMP" as well
