  • GUYS, how do i put a phaser on, and control it to slowly turn off?

  • Hi, thanks for sharing this tutorial. It was very nice! I just sent you a video reply, with an a capella vocal rendition of Sting's famous 80's song Fragile. The reason I sent it, was that I also used Neptune (in Reason 6) to make it. I hope ya all like it.

  • Do i need Record for Neptune?? or can i just buy Reason 6?

  • @TooRecords Yes, it will be in Reason 6. Everything you seen in Record will be in Reason 6 because the two programs are merging.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples finally.

  • @JJayAndTheFreakShow finally what?

  • nice! thank you for sharing.

  • this isnt a harmony? this is just a doubler?

  • @RoelvdKrabben Did you read the title to this video? I changed it after I uploaded it. It's also not "just a double" there are are harmonies and dissonance, but mainly dissonance.

  • Yo this is tight. Thx for the lesson.

  • @iamatis20 thank you and you are welcome, check out my channel for more. My past two video's were about vocal editing

  • nice tutorial :) btw if you press SHIFT while inserting a new instrument, effect or whatsoever in Reason it will be put in without any cable connection in the first place, so you dont have to disconnect it. Saves me some nerves always lol

  • Can you save that setup as a combinator or patch so you can bring it up instead of having to wire everytime? if not what do you suggest?

  • @lexbeats of course you can, all you need to do is create all of your effects into a combinator, the hit the floppy disc icon to save it as a patch. Instead of building your effects strait into audio track you have to do it in the combinator to save and it you can't load combinators inside of audio patches to you will still need to rout the audio track outputs to the combinator patch inputs. Just remember that your mix channel will now be for the combinator, not the audio track :)

  • when did you record the Hobo's voice ?

  • @indieclock I didn't record it, was from one of the Demo songs from Record. Or it's quite possible that I am struggling to find the humor in your post.

  • hey how do you make a midiout put for fl9 iknow how to rewire but idont no wich nows is the portnumber can you make a video?

  • @IBANGBEATZ sorry man, I've never used Fruity Loops, but I might buy it this summer

  • @MrBrandonPeoples thx man ima sub 2 you ill maby learn something

  • Do we need an M-Box for this reason prog.?

  • @muzikbiz001 no

  • can you do a vocal delay effect with reason record. if so could you please make a vid of that or direct me to a vid that has been made showing that. im crossed in between buying this reason record or sonar 8. but must have delay

  • @AMBASSSIDOR check out propellerheadSW on youtube, James from propellerhead already has a tutorial up for it :)

  • hold down shift when you create a device, then it dosen't route when you create them, just a little tip for you :)

  • @abn666 yup, I know that, thanks though

  • Can anyone help me? I got Record demo and I got a supreme mic and a M-audio fast track extand soundcard. I'm new at reason and I dont seem to get the mic to work or get a signal at all.

  • @superpu2 go to preferences, hit the drop down box, select audio, and select your M-audio device.

also, I don't know anything about the extand, but if your mic requires phantom power, the extand might be able to provide it for your mic to work, what kind of mic are you using?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples I use the phantom and it is a supreme cu-1 mic. It dosen't seem to work :( You should be able to see the levels move on the"Hardware Interface" when you speak in the mic?

  • @superpu2 did you select the extand as you exterior audio device?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples Yes :/

  • @lairdriver yes, Neptune is only in Record. It would not make since to include Neptune in Reason, because you can't import audio, so you would be using neptune on instruments which would be lame. Record is an awesome program if your looking to record more than what Reason gives you, such as Guitar and Vocals. It and ultimate sequencer with an ultimate mixer. If you making a song, you can mix and master it so much better

  • I love the Swedish

  • @Lavahgo yes, God Bless the sweeds for this creation

  • Which god should we love?

    And why?

  • @tomaselvis whats your opinion?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples

My opinion is that it's weird to love something that isn't proven and billions of other people love other unproven gods.

    Your opinion?

  • @tomaselvis I think it is comforting to believe that there is a greater thing than man. I don't need proof, because faith gives satisfaction.

If we keep this conversation going, lets not be jerks or try and offend each, instead lets try and explain our points of view.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples

    Of course...

So you believe just for comfort? Isn't that just being lazy?

How do you know your god and not the neighbors is the true one?

Would you say he's right if his god say that you are a bad person?

Oh, and thanks for the good vid. I tried your trix.

Sounded funny. I also made it sing in three different lines.

    Reason is fun!

  • @tomaselvis I don't believe in God just for comfort, I just feel comforted to think he is there.

I don't think my neighbors God hears my prayers.

Only God can judge me, and since my "neighbors" god is a false God, I don't think he has any right to judge me for my own beliefs.

yes, Reason is a blast! it's really hard to concentrate on school work with Reason on my mind.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples

I'm sorry, but it seems a little arrogant to say that the neighbors god isn't real and that yours is without evidence.

Another part is that your neighbor gives the exact same answer as you do.

How can I, as an atheist know which one of you has a true god?

Or can it be that you're both wrong?

  • @tomaselvis what I believe is based off of the bible, the only recorded evidence for any religion that has been proven time after time. Every other religion, worships a god that is now dead. they also add their own boos to the bible, changing the meaning of it. And to get things strait, I hate religious, religious is what will send the world to hell. I have a relationship with God. no not a homosexual relationship, it's like a family. He is our father, and we are the children

  • @tomaselvis am I different from other Christians you have encountered?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples Not really. Christians like to tell me to start believe.

Is it ok if I ask you to stop believe? Would you hold it against me?

  • @tomaselvis But I didn't attack you and say "you must worship God, or you will be condemned to hell." and I didn't ask you to become a believer, I just asked you opinion. I'm not trying to throw the bible at anyone.

I expect atheists to make Christian question their beliefs. so I'm ok with it. Nothings new to me, I've encounter alot of it. I just hold my ground as you are holding yours.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples

You write "love god". That means that you tell others to love your god. Or am I wrong? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I never hold my ground on faith. I build my opinion on intellectual thought and evidence. And I wonder why your god is more true than other gods.

How do you disprove the other gods? It should be impossible since they are faith based too. Maybe you'll burn in their hell or something? How do you prohibit that?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples

Just so that you know. I never mean to offend you.

    My questions are sincere.

  • Excellent lesson!

    Thanks for posting.

  • @Ballotman thanks for the feed back and subscribing!

  • Your voice is very quite, mate. I can't hear a word you are saying.

  • @kmne11528 yeah that's weird, sounds fine on my laptop, right now I'm on my desktop and it is very quite. but my other video's sound just fine. Sorry about the inconvenience

  • Good vid homie

  • @Livegutta thank you!

  • I just wanted to mention that this is actually detuned unisons and not technically a harmony. However, it is a very cool effect and quite a common production trick. Keep the vids coming Brandon. Excellent work sir.

  • @retsofnalanosaj Yeah, I understand that now, I've been talking with a guy from the Phead about it. So we came up with three concepts that pertain to this video, what I made was a "micro"-dissonance, you could also do harmony, and dissonance plus much more

  • @MrBrandonPeoples Cool, I just wanted to give you a heads up, you know how the comment section can be on LookAtMeTube. Peace and keep up the good work.

  • @retsofnalanosaj haha yeah, thanks for the heads up.

  • @4Torre yeha, I have heard that, It's just not something I thought about, but thanks for reminding me!

  • Keep up the good work man...

  • @RAYGproductions thanks
