This review seems to make red dead Redemption a very happy game, well its certainly enjoyable, but it's depressing, there is so much emotion in the game. That's why its my favorite game of all time

The ENDING however was really sad, but amazing and felt like it kind of had to happen in order for the game to have a masterful story. But that was a pretty short part of the game if you just cut out the ending. Great game though and the journey was the best, but calling it depressing isn't my opinion, more like 'clever and cunning' to the producers. But that's just me.

I LOVED this game , best game of 2010 and by far , and hell it would have come out in 2011 that it would still have been the best. the DLC undead nightmare , OMG was even better ( im a huge zombie fan ) i just love to free roam and kill zombies. And the ending was so amazing , i only hate to play has Jack Marston after the game is complete .

this is the full package. a story that can last 24-30 or so hours with great voice acting and a great plot and then it gets an amazing multiplayer experience that lasts forever. the ONLY THING i hated was that u couldnt create ur own guy in multiplayer but all the characters were amazing and leveling was smooth

@TheJoshicraig Yes, but Splinter Cell is good though I have both. But if you look at it from a gamer's point of view Red Dead is longer, has a better story in my opinion, and more fun. But Splinter Cell has it's perks the new elimination system gives you more choices than sneaking and the voice acting is yet again excellent. So I would choose Red Dead Redemption over Splinter Cell Conviction anytime.

@vsc1988 Exactly. It's the most probable and realistic ending they could have done. It shows just how crooked and corrupt the government REALLY is. Although John Marston is my favorite character in any video game (him and Tommy Vercetti), it was the perfect move to have him die and Jack avenge his father. Check-Mate.

@jonnycashman100 While I doubt they'll make an entire new game, I would be content with a DLC prequel, they did such an awesome job with Undead Nightmare, and people would spend $20 for a DLC if you got to play as John Marston again and learn about what went down before RDR. This game is easily one of the best games I've ever played. You probably know this by now but they're bringing out a free DLC for online in September, so maybe we'll see more content in the future, *fingers crossed* :)
