what are you talking about? D.Ferry said no to Clippers, S.Francis said no to Grizzlies, Kobe said no to NJ. It's the players choice. Had Yi refused to play for the Bucks and played in CBA, Bucks retain his rights anyways.

It wasn't Yi that didn't want to play w/ the Bucks... it was his agent who was picked by his China Club... they had millions of $ to gain if he signed in the bigger markets.

He got signed by the Bucks today, but in response to the description:
Why would you blame the Bucks? Were they supposed to choose a less-skilled player, and give up a chance at a possible cornerstone for a franchise that has SUCKED in the past decade?
Its the way the draft works, and all players (and their agents) have to abide by it. I'm glad the Bucks didn't back down.

the bucks roster has versatile players who can move between guard/forward positions, and Charlie V. actually prefers playing the 3... what he played in Toronto.

He will get minutes with the Bucks, they plan to have him bogut at the 5, yi at the 4, charlie v at the 3, redd at the 2 and mo at the 1. bench/ other combos would look something like- Gadzuric at the 5, Charlie V/ Mason/ Simmons / 4, Mason/Simmons/Storey at the 3, Simmons/Mason/Bell, 1 Bell/ Greer/Sessions---

He won't even get any minutes with the Bucks. They got too many forwards. How many minutes can he expect to play a game? 10 - 15? This is of course assuming Charlie V. is healthy.
