If anyone's being lazy, it's probably the people who are in charge of the engineers. Then again, if it's a well engineered part that can be used in other cars, why not use it again? As we've seen with the Mini E-Revo's rear differential, mini servo, etc-even with extensive testing prior to release, it's not uncommon for problems to appear once they're in the hands of thousands of users out in the field. Ultimately it comes down to money, having to test more parts more extensively wou
What the hell is up with traxxas? they take the platform for a mini e revo, then lower it a little and call it the mini slash. then they lower that even more and call it the 1/16 rally. then they raise it a little and call it the mini Summit.
Then they have the 4x4 Slash platform, which they raise a little and call it the Stampede 4x4 brushless.
Everyone is all "WOAHHH", so what, they put a different body and shocks on a car thats been out for a year already. can you say lazy engineers?
@cscow7 gtbmxracer405 , im not trying to be rude to you, I just cant stand when companies milk old products for all they are worth, and then some. I remember 15 years ago when hobby grade rcs were something hobbyists built themselves, not something 8 year old kids bought off the ebay.
