I'm a Yankee and I love it. Simply because this is down to earth rock with one of the most charismatic vocals. Songs like "Don't break the Circle" or "The Spell" are timeless classics.

I was there with.dave hill and the band in the 80s and boy did they rock.they did go a bit commercial after that but boy were they a great,great band.what a brillaint song this is,whether metal or not,no one can deny that!

Dudes!--You would be hard-pressed to find a concept album this good in the mid-80's--Orwellian concept theme--the vocals on "Fever in the City" are so inspired/passionate/beautiful-­-and the way the song progresses(rises,falls--transi­tion--difficult 2 do so effectively)--and "Nowhere to Run" totally metal rocks!

the first time i got stoned i heard this for the first time...id smoked a few joints before but nothing had happened but on the night demon when on my mates turntable something happened. still a great album after all theses years. i still got the pic disc of it. i picked up the next weekend after my first stoning.

There is not a single metal song on this album. NONE. NOT A SINGLE ONE. This song is testament to the fact, it sounds like 80's pop because it is 80's pop. Who the fuck would bang their head to a Piano driven shithole of a ballad with some ass wailing about "the plague?" Sounds more like Elton John than Cloven Hoof.

Who sucks?! You can't even figure a metal album beyond what wikipedia tells you.

i agree with you dude..old demon was heavy metal,,but then they became a pop band ,sad but true. but then again that;s what happens with many european bands ,,they put out one or 2 good albums at the most and then they become something gay. with some great exceptions like maiden and some other very few acts
