@barbafant Actually, sour mash is a type of whiskey. However, I agree that it's not the same stuff as they make in Scotland and Ireland. Muck water. Bourbon is the only American whiskey worth anything, at all, and that's because the Scots and Irish brought over their whiskey making secrets to Bourbon County. ;)
