There is an easier way. See that little part you bent back at the beginning, actually cut it off with a pair of clean scissors. Then you don't have to worry about folding it back and it getting in the way. Then once you line that little part up you can let it fall completely flat. Easier to judge it that way and once you're happy with it you can hold the part that's already stuck with 2 fingers and simply peel the remaining part off. Perfection every time

Thank you very much, just applied a screen protector on my new N900, unfortunately it didn't quite fit(had to trim off a few mm's). I have tried to put on screen protectors in the past but this time it was almost perfect, there were some minor bubbles but I will purchase a new one anyway, hopefully it will fit better.

You should buy ipod touch devices put screen protectors on them and resell them. I've ordered a new ipod touch and screen protector and it seems so difficult to put it on there, even though mine won't have any dust or fingerprints when I'm applying it.

I actually figured out it was a bad screen protector. Don't buy the cheap screen protectors from Amazon. They scratch when you apply them, the come off themselves, and you can't (yes, can't) get fingerprints off them. Right now I'm very happy with the Belkin screen protector.

Trying to take them off will only make the protector worse because you will get fingerprints on the inside. You will then attempt to take them off with a loth and fibers will get stuck on there. You will then try washing them off and your screen protector doesn't work anymore.
