  • R.I.P Michael. Best tennor sax solo i have heard in a long time.

  • Who's the guitar player?

  • @gilouseb He is Barry Finnerty.

  • Damn that Nigga Mike ripped it!

  • Damn that Nigga Mike ripped it!

  • Know your Axe

  • I love these guys!

  • Wow what a monstar Michael was! I've seen this video hundreds of times and I am still in awe of him. What a shame that he is gone :-( Never got to see him play live.........

  • I love Michael Brecker, R.I.P. Michael

  • 2:10 man I wish I could do that octave jumping low note thing! It's so cool! I play trumpet, but I'd learn tenor just to do that, and the sick bend right after

  • SICK!!! as allways !!!

  • Love this song!

  • whats up with the blue

  • looks like a watermark or something lol.. weird

  • yo the randy brecker show is fucking amazing i saw it last summer

  • Hahaha Randy Brecker looks like a middle aged tourist. Classic.

  • haha, Randy has an interesting style for sure...he's always got some funky shirt or jacket or hat on. Oh, and glasses. He's worn some pretty knarly glasses.

  • @jbowers56 Hahaha I feel like Randy's looked middle aged since he was 20. observe the fanny pack casually slung to the side

  • @supahsekzy

    Dude, exactly.

  • Great music and popular players! But I hated this FUNK period....But each to his own>>

  • Zo-doe-je-dat & doe-het-zelf

    haha over 10 jaar ja

  • Wow! I love the Brecker brothers, they play funk like no one else...

  • Whats the name of the DVD I like to order on AMAZON right now!

    :O)

  • Even though I am a sax player, I admire Randy Brecker's playing tremendously. I noticed that he has excellent technique. They are both truly amazing. God bless the Breckers

  • I love the fanny pack.

  • lol it is so great you cant beat it

  • That man was a bloody genius. He could play licks faster than i can think. RIP Mr Brecker.

  • wish there was an UK Brecker memorial!! Long live the genius of Michael Brecker!!

  • fast!

  • lol this is in the Science & Technology category. love the brecker bros btw. screen keeps going blue on me though...

  • i like this faster version better

  • me to

  • I love the Brecker Brothers. I actually had the pleasure to play this tune along side Randy Brecker himself, and as a trumpet player this was one of the greatest moments of my short life

  • Randy has incredible chops.

  • If only that piano's changed... sounds kinda.... ghastly

  • I've had a chance and a big pleasure to see Randy Brecker live in concert in my home town in Kaunas. In Kaunas Jazz festival. Randy was playing with Kaunas Big Band. And Some Skunk Funk was included in the program. It was an amazing site!

  • I bet that was amazing - reading this gave me goosebumps !

    lol

  • you all should look into "the return of the brecker brothers, live in spain" movie for another version of the same tune. Its done the same way, but in some respects, I admire their solo's better. Maybe it's because their less burnt out on it. (or maybe it's because ive seen it at least 100 times. Literally.!)

  • thats so fast compared to the original tempo. damn

  • with Dennis Chambers, no less!

  • i love the brecker brothers ^^

  • michael brecker is the man.
