92% of teenagers have turned to New school and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another video. Don't let the real rap die!!
damm nobodie really clickx that krsone made music wit a beat machine and a dj with samples from records, thats some talented stuff for that tym , and manage to still rock a crowd . then u got rock bands who got all the gear to make music and not all of them can move air lol lov hiphop talent its really organic
Wtf's wrong with this crowd? they got the blast master Krs One at less than 10 meters from them and ain't fucking moving... i'm in front of my computer and bumping to that classic track like no other..
Ha yes, Black people abandoned hip hop. And us young white guys scooped it up, and polished it off. Now we are the ones producing the beats, and were the ones still standing behind two turntables like that shit never went out style! We havnt made it up to spittin too much yet, but give it some time!
I met KRS one today at work, this cat is cool as hell!! Got his autograph too! I was like... KRS ONE?? He said "all day son!" ha ha!! I had a great fucken day!!
cats today talk gutta but dont come back to the hood they go to venues in the burbs and holla nigga nigga on stage and go backstage and they ghost.they never at hood spots.
I was at this show. unbelivable This was real . Not like the bs they do today. this was in the street. most "rappers" ,LOL,would be afraid to walk da south bronx >LOL
Yes, all of the white people. It sucks that BLACKS only carried hip hop until 2004. Lil Wayne was not your second coming.
White people understand the struggle the same as blacks. However, the fact that you attach a color to a race means you are not familiar with KRS-One's music at all.
@dannyruxspin No white people think they understand the ones that try to be down beleive they understand. Rap came from out of poverty. Those that didn't have shit used rap as an outlet. Whites for the most part always had something to fall back on where they didn't have to struggle. A lot of blacks had to hustle it threw. Obviously ur white, u go & tell some1 thats going threw it u understand & spend a day with them & see what it is day to day for them. U'll experience what they go threw.
@reddraid Yes, and every white person growing up in a tough situation can just fall back on the fact that they are white. Then suddenly, banks shower them with money and everyone laughs! It is nice to be white. I know if I ever get evicted from my apartment again, I will remember I am white, and suddenly my impressive stock portfolio will magically appear.
Oh, and your sentence, "U'll experience what they go threw", just lets the world know it is not a language arts class... EVER.
Pure classic!! The young bucks today should have to take a hip hop history course and this song would be one ot ones that set a standard in hip hop that nobody today can match
i need help finding a song that had the sample, "If you see me walking down the street, and I start to cryyyy" does anyone remember what song that was?
Ummm... Actually Hip Hop's origin started in Jamaica with reggae/ska music (chanting) that migrated to the united states... The artist main focus was usually on the social and economics the of community. It was later picked up in the South Bronx and adopted to a new culture. Maybe I am shooting too far with its roots when you're probably only referring to "hip hop" as a stand alone. If not, reggae/ska is the parent of Hip hop.
I tell everyone this and most be ignorant as hell tryna tell me i'm wrong, certain people need to look at the dancehall culture in jamaica, hip hop was inspired jamaican culture heavily!!!
Oh no doubt... that is the history of hip hop, even KRS himself would tell a person that. People argue with you because they don't know the history behind the music. In the words of Buju Banton "The truth is the truth and that's no offense"... those that get offended by truth really should evaluate themselves... everything has it's roots in another thing, that's life.
