there is a quicker way, had astral s fitted and was burgled, double glazing company that sold me the door replaced with a magnum, tried it myself. DG company said they would give me £500 insurance guarantee if i was burgled. Snapped it in 1 min 20, they wouldn't cough cos they said i hadn't been burgled!!

Once you pick the initial 7 pins you will feel the plug rotate about 1 degree, then to pick the sidebar wafers; insert the handle of a tension wrench, overlift them into place and drop them with light tension.
