So pretty! Here's another tip I got for ya: Get a prepaid cell phone before you go. I got one before my trip to China and I was able to stay in contact with my family in Florida for the same price as a local call. Hello. Wonderful pics. I am going to China this summer. Is it hard to buy train tickets if I do not speak Chinese? Any advice? Thanks.

I trust they at least have a paper in English from which you can point out what do you want, e.g. the type of your compartment. But some words of Chinese is otherwise good to know, like numbers to 1 to 10 for bargaining and "I don't want" "I didn't say" in case there is a problem with the dish at a restaurant. They'll give u a total refund
