  • No such thing as an eternal hell. A just God wouldn't punish someone forever for sin's committed in a short finite life. Even if Hitler served a life sentence for every life he was responsible for, say 35 years times 5 million that's only 175 million years, that's only a drop in the ocean compared to forever. So using a little reasoning and the fact that Hell, Hades, Sheol, only meant the common grave. We see that God is not the wicked unjust tyrant these so called Christians claim him to be.

  • @1manvsworld even while in hell, sinners will hate and blaspheme God. They will continue to sin and so continue to be judged. That is why Hell is forever.

  • Now, go down to Mark 10:27, where the disciples, astonished, ask "who then can be saved?" and Jesus replies "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible". In other words, you are not saved by anything you do, as in 'works'; you are saved by the grace of God, as in John 3: 18: "he that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believed not is condemned already.." The young man in this story did not have faith, so his works counted for nothing.

  • ....and, he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

Then, Jesus uses the opportunity to teach his disciples about "How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!"....and the part about camels and the eye of the needle. See Mark Ch 9-10. Kirk Cameron conveniently leaves this part out, or hasn't read it all, being that the remainder of this teaching would prove what a hypocrite he really is.

  • The Scripture quoted in Mark 10 is taken out of context. Read it yourself. The man says that he has followed all of the ten commandments from youth. (Obviously, the man missed the point of Jesus's teaching in Mark chapter 9). Yet, Jesus, beholding him, loved him, and said unto him, sell whatsoever thoue hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. .....

  • and on and on and on it goes, and it just never ends...

  • Perfect video - Well don't

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus It seems like we both agree: 1) Faith in Christ alone provides salvation. 2) Fruits of the spirit are the result of conversion (by God's sanctification within us). Why are we arguing? : )

  • Actually people realize that their religion is idiotic.

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus remember Jesus said parables in the bible, Remember you can believe in the Bible but you still can be in sin.

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus No, they aren't apostates. I agree that salvation IS by faith alone. Would you not agree though that there are such things as "professing Christians" that believe in Christ, but are not saved? Look at Matthew 7:21-23 (some who profess will NOT be saved), 1 John 2:19 (CLEARLY shows that not all people who profess belief are saved). So what was the problem? FALSE FAITH. TRUE FAITH results in repentance. You can't have one without the other. That's their message.

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus I have met and witnessed with Ray Comfort PERSONALLY and you are completely wrong. They use scripture CONSTANTLY. They have NEVER preached works salvation. True repentance results in changed behavior, it is a natural reaction to true conversion. I say this with love, brother in Christ, but please stop spreading falsehoods about these men.

  • stop comparing gods work to a manmade computer, if your right then what ur saying is complete nonsence as well.

  • What we know of as 'Matter' is in-fact part of a hologram(basically the world is made up of information). That's the setting in which God created the earth, what we see everyday is not real per-say, but in a sense, part of a computer program that God has put us into. And physics proves it!! the Bible also mentions it in Hebrews 11:3 --Look it up /watch?v=Jzfj4R52Q6I Here is similar video which proves the existence of God. /watch?v=Kj8UdHuP5l8

  • do these guys keep the true sabbath?

  • I don't understand why atheists and theists argue so much. you are both saying the same thing. God and Self are both bound to be frail concepts. bc all concepts are frail. the atheist says self is god. the theists says god is god... but both are ambiguous. Both are fantasy gods. your god is your conscience and it is universal. don't listen to their hells if you dont like it, they havent helped a single "sinner". let them go the path of cowardly superstition and finger pointing... you seek truth

  • @MMurray08 Atheists do not claim that. Straw man fallacy there.

  • @MMurray08 What are you talkign about? Atheists only make ONE claim and that claim is about their non-belief in a god. As code933k pointed out, you are building your own straw men.

  • @dan24b They make only one claim? Wow, you really think their philosophy is that flat? Just bc an atheist says he doesn't believe in a God, does not mean he or she has no basis for their own morality. You have not even begun to build your straw man, it is more like a piss poor toilet paper man that you already wiped your ass with.Comment back if you have something interesting to say other than they have ONE claim.I don't see how that claim separates ppl.SalvationBasedOn belief is for the sheeple

  • So the best way to make ppl obey God is to put in their mind the fear of hell?? You can't obey God out of fear of consequences... you can only obey god by understanding and love.... religion says believe and you will understand... science comes to tell you: understand, and you shall believe....

  • wait.... so Jesus said sell all your belongings.... has Kirk done so? apparently not bc he is on the lease of modern day money making christianity... I don't blame him, he is innocent... ignorant... but innocent... I blame these Satanic principles which hide behind the facade calling themselves "Christianity"

  • And no, I don't fear your hell, very similar to the way christians don't fear the muslim one. Both very much imaginary.

  • It was only when the mind bending thinking that is required to believe became to much that I decided to actually look at the evidence without caring where it led.

The barbaric teaching of hell fire is what holds christians(and muslims as well) from trying to find out if there beliefs are actually true.

How did the 'bible' come to be?

Why is Yahweh true but not Allah, Zeus, Horus, Isis or any of the multitudes of other gods?

Because you have been taught this one, nothing more.

  • Alright, I'll respond to you guys. First off it is glaringly apparent that all of these christian responses come straight from the pages of christian apologetics books.

I dare any of you, especially shopper292 to actually read the other side of the coin. I was there, completely. Raised in a mennonite church and then in a few other very conservative churches. I know your side, used to debate FROM your angle(Lee Strobel, C.S.Lewis etc.)

    To be continued....

  • Air quotes! You lost me at 20 seconds in !!!!

  • The assumptions made by these morons is staggering. One first has to show that (1) a god exists or even cares (2) this god just so happens to be your particular one in spite of the thousands of gods who have been believed in (3) the christian bible is the actual work of this god.

I was raised as a conservative christian and in fact believed wholeheartedly for 30 years until I investigated the claims of christianity. Don't be snowed by the bull, it is all smoke and mirrors designed to entrap.

  • @m52378 I'm sorry you feel that way :(

  • @m52378 to prove God exists is very simple brother, if there is a painting then there must b a painter even if u dont c him coz that is logical, if u c a building then its logical there must b a builder what about creation?....u guessed it there must b a creator. Imagine we are walking at the beach and we picked up a wrist watch and I told u the watch just appeared by itself no one made it, it came from nothing would u believe me???

  • @dukulai You realize that we have heard these tiresome arguments countless times, right? I have seen a builder build, I have seen a painter paint, etc. but I have NEVER seen a "creator" create all of existence out of nothing and by magic. Imagine you were walking down a beach, and you found a small tree branch that washed ashore. Would you say that the tree branch was "designed" by some one or that it came about through a natural process that doesn't require a designer? continued..

  • @dukulai We have examples of all man made things being man made, but no one has ever seen a god create anything. A watch is clearly a man made object, a tree branch is clearly part of a naturally occurring life form that is self-replicating (can a watch self-replicate?). The fact that we can distinguish between what is man-made and what is natural is what brings your analogy crashing down. If you claim that everything that exists must have been designed, then that would have to include your god

  • @dukulai So in effect, you have NOT proven that your god exists, you have merely asserted it with out evidence. As Hitchens said, "that which can be asserted with out evidence can be dismissed with out evidence."

  • @dan24b What are you on about? This is in the first place not a video clip to try and proves God's existence, it's a video clip for Christians about the right & wrong way to bring the gospel to you, the unbeliever. God's existence is proved by everything around you - proving it is not the question, it's how to prove to you your guilt before him that is the question.

  • @PhilMMeyer Actually, I know very well what the video was about. I was countering dukulai's ridiculous assertions and analogies. He falsely claimed exactly what you are claiming, that because something exists, it must have been created. Before it can be "proven" that I'm "guilty" you must first convince me that your god is real, that the Bible is accurate and reliable and that it's not all just made up shit. Until you can do that, your religion will continue to die.

  • @PhilMMeyer god's existence is NOT proven by merely asserting it, you must first DEMONSTRATE that what you are saying is true, otherwise your argument has about as much validity as saying that leprechauns, unicorns and Santa are real.

  • @dan24b If you are His God will bring you to himself one day, your right we can go on and on bot these arguments and reach no where. As for me after knowing all that is in a human body the DNA the amino acids the proteins and all the body systems I can't but acknowledge there must be a higher being that made all this. Even albert einstein didnt have a problem on whether or not there is a God the scientific argument of cause and effect was enough for him 2 conclude this

  • @dukulai None of us belong to a god or gods but rather a god belongs to us depending in which culture or society we are born into. Humans are the "creators" of the god concept due to their immense ignorance of the natural world around them. Did your god also create the amino acids that have been found on asteroids floating through space? tell me, why did he put the building blocks of life floating around in outer space? So what does Einstein have to do with this?... appeal to authority cont...

  • @dukulai Besides Einstein never believed in a personal god, he believed in Spinoza's god (pantheism). The Universe existing doesn't even need a cause in order to exist. Ever study quantum mechanics? Don't forget that Einstein was also quite mistaken about several important aspects of even his own theories due to his personal bias and opinion about the universe (look up Einstein's big blunder).

  • @dan24b Yes He created all the amino acids in the universe regardless of where they r found, and YES we do belong to THE god..the living God creator of all and whateva He creates doesnt have to have meaning the way we define it. I brought up Eisntein 2 show that even one of the greatest minds dint stumble at the question of whether or not there was a God that is simple logic 2 figure out, what the problem was for him is dat this God was impersonal as u said he blvd in the Spinoza's God

  • @dukulai Again, Eistein is irrelevant to this discussion. As smart as he was, his beliefs in a pantheistic deity did not come from science and he fully admitted that his personal beliefs were pure opinion and not based or supported by fact. An argument from authority is not very convincing, you need to try harder in order for me to take your silly claims seriously.

  • @dan24b and let me get this straight, the universe doesn't need a cause to exist so what your telling me to blv is dat nothing created everything? or am I wrong?

  • @dukulai Yes, you are very wrong! Why do you assume that the Universe was "created" at all? What evidence do you have for this? What evidence do you have that it was a god or even your particular god that "created" it? Until you can demonstrate what you are claiming is true, it will be considered nothing more than mere ignorant opinion.

There is no evidence that matter has ever not existed in one form or another for all of time so why would you believe otherwise?

  • @dan24b so then where did this matter come from? it was just there? Lets say I don't have enough evidence to prove Godz existence do u have enough evidence to prove He doesn't exist?

  • @dukulai seeing as he didn't reply, no, he can't prove God doesn't exist. :P

  • @m52378 then you didn't really investigate the claims of Christianity to seek to know what is true. Because the Bible more than proves itself to be what it claims to be, "(the word of God), and, through it's prophecies, it also proves the positions of true Christianity as well. I don't know what you were involved in, or with, but i do know that what you believe now is the complete opposite of what is true. Jesus is Who the Bible says He is, and did what the Bible says He did!

  • JESUS DELIVER US FROM US AMEN

  • This video is absolutely amazing! Every Christian needs to watch this.

  • Do you know His name? Do you know His Son's name? Surely you do. The Son's name is in the Father's name. The Father's name is Yahuah, the Messiah's name is Yahushuah. The Almighty knows the wantings of the heart and those who have erroneously tranlated the name of the Messiah will face God's wrath. Look up the meaning of "sus" in Latin (prior translation before English). Peace and love.

  • @pinkygray Hm yeah okay :-)

  • @pinkygray You are sorely ignorant about the freedom in Christ and err on the side of gross legalism. My name is Philip. In French it's Felipe, in Russian it's Филипп. I have no problem with my name being pronounced differently and written differently in various languages - do you really think the Lord would mind His name being translated? Be careful of the law - it's not meant for salvation but for condemnation. Oh, and your spellings of God's name and of his Son's are completely wrong...
