you don't like them, don't go. If you take an informal poll of your average 5-10yr old, you'll find that the overwhelming majoirty of them LIKE Monster Trucks. We don't need any more governmental control of our lives telling us what and where we should and can go for our entertainment. This was an incredibly, almost incomprehensibly rare anomaly. 4 million people attend these shows a year, and have been for over 20yrs. This is the first time a person was killed by debris.

@PaulDougouba really, if you look at it, its not really monster jams fault. its the inspectors of the trucks and the driver himself. i bet that if that was tom meents or dennis anderson, they whould have checked the trucks and if something is wrong they whouldnt run.

@pokemon200016 stuff happens in motor sports that is in controllable tom and dennis have wreck before with debris coming off the trucks and kept their foot in it. Motor sports is dangerous for everyone involved call me a weirdo but danger is sort of exciting. It is sad that a little boy lost his life but don't blame a motor sports for deaths because it could be taking away for government regulations. it sounds to me like it was just another freak accident, you could put up nascar style fences at these events but even they can't stop everything. there is a video that proves this where someone i nthe crowd is hit by debris at a nascar event, only minor injuries that time i think tho. RIP to the kid and heartfelt condolences to the family

my dad took me to a monster trucj show when i was just 3. Watchin this i feel a shiver streak down my back knowin that that easily could be me. We can't avoid accidents, much less fix them once they have happened, but we can a little more cautious. No matter where you sit in that stadium, you're within range of a dangerous projectile. Just pray to god that it isn't your time when that truck comes around the corner. R.I.P Sebastian, God has saved a special seat for you in heaven.

You know it's a risk when you buy tickets. There should be no netting, no extra safety precaution at all. It is a known risk when you buy the ticket. Look at how many shows go on without a thing going wrong. The drivers do not go out there with malicious intent, and no one knows when something will break. Let's call it what it is.....sad yes but also...an ACCIDENT.

you don't like them, don't go. If you take an informal poll of your average 5-10yr old, you'll find that the overwhelming majoirty of them LIKE Monster Trucks. We don't need any more governmental control of our lives telling us what and where we should and can go for our entertainment. This was an incredibly, almost incomprehensibly rare anomaly. 4 million people attend these shows a year, and have been for over 20yrs. This is the first time a person was killed by debris.
