the voice actors of the German version of this game did a better job. This sounds just too played.

voice acting on the keeper here always sounded similar to me to the guy who voices walton simons in deus ex. Probably an especially eerie coincidence given the present circumstances of T4/DE3's development by the same team.

@gildedlink The makers of Thief 1 and 2 also made the Deus Ex and System Shock games. That's why they are STILL being made together.

So it will most likely be the same voice actor for the keeper (Thief 1) and Walton (Walton).

Unfortunately, Tom Hall (Walter Simmons) isn't in the credits. It's either Josh Randall (the producer) or Nate Wells (one of the artists who also voiced Bayliss in System Shock 2, Keeper Nate in Thief 2 and Artemus in Thief 3).

@jillym1231211 It's not the same guy. Walton Simons was a guy named Tom Hall. He's not credited at all for Thief 1.

However, the voice of Viktoria is Terri Brosius. You might also know her as SHODAN or from the band Tribe. They had a track on the first Rock Band because she worked for Harmonix at the time (many of the Harmonix employees are musicians and several of their bands were included on the soundtrack). She also worked on Frequency, Deus Ex 2, and Guitar Hero!

It wasn't difficult to Garrett, but remember the intimate connection between the Eye and the Thief. Perhaps the Eye did not want to be found by anyone but him, and that is why the Trickster failed. D.R.

I guess that he meant that the trickster will try to kill him because he was able to steal (get) the eye, wile the trickster failed to.

And that you be mad at the keepers because they can just leave through that random door wile you can't(that is just what I take out of it, I might be wrong)

he left him there it was a half assed rescue, just like the keepers usually do things half way.

i think it means its humiliating to be rescued, especially by the keepers, the people who garrett tried to disown

The Trickster won't forgive Garrett for stealing the eye from the Haunted Cathedral, something he could not (pride).

As for the second phrase: it can mean two things...

1. The Keepers knew this would happen (it's all in their books)

2. The same thing as for the Trickster, Garrett won't forgive them for saving him, something he could not do himself at that moment.

(I think 1 makes the most sense though :))
