  • I sat about 5 feet away from this band in La Bastille jazz club in Houston spring 1974. The s#*t was SO funky it was RIDICULOUS.. Herbie was playing the Rhodes like it was the last night he would play the piano (I mean BURNING), and Mike Clark was re-defining drumming as we knew it! Unbelievable.

  • rtf? where? never mind :-)

  • is this really the whole rtf section? :O but not in this piece right? .. or where is chick then?

  • This is:

    Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters

Herbie Hancock .... Fender Rhodes Suitcase 88 Mark I Electric Piano,

Hohner D6 Clavinet, ARP Odyssey, Mellotron,

    ARP String Ensemble, Vocals, Handclaps,

    Introductions

    Paul Jackson ........ Electric Bass

Bennie Maupin ..... Tenor Saxophone, Vocals, Handclaps
