So , I learned how to play this famous song from Marty. Good job Marty. I would also reccommend people to jump on the original song as you learn and have a listen about 200 times like I did, so that the strum pattern makes more sense. Disclaimer; stuff takes me a while to pick up and I have to look at it from different angles you know:)

I'm just learning. I think you should have talked more about the strumming pattern on the first down stroke, is it more like a half stroke on the base strings and then all the strings? So like 1/2 down 1 down 2 down 3 up/down 4 down?

At 65 I am trying to learn to play, something I never dreamt of. The most frustrating thing is that when i watch the picking, by whoever is teaching, it is always played too fast to see which strings are being struck.
