Wright, he's 1/4 bombastic (most black ppl expect entertainment in church -- see Baptist, Evangelical, or AME as examples), he's 1/4 political (meaning his sermons do not focus fully on biblical events), he's 1/4 spiritual/gospel, and he's 1/4 egotisticle (the pre-requisite to being a "disciple" of any religion is "ignorance" or "sin").

Not all white people are f'd up, nor do all white people want high gas prices. Think of how racist your comment is. I don't think that all black people are represented by the few that are criminals. I don't. I listened to Rev. Wrights full sermons, and it does put everything in context. I think it's horrible that this is being used as a tactic to discredit Obama. Please don't blame a race for everything, it's our corrupt system that needs all of us working together to overcome.

Don't call him "smug", he is taking the offensive and showing his personality to boot. Smug means "offensive satisfaction with oneself". Um, nawl, having a smile and pose after you knock down a question isn't necessarily smug. That means Tiger and Jordan are both smug when they celebrate. Black folks get excited over anything, so bussing someone's head for asking a dumb question will get you the same pose as if I dunked in your face.

^^Oh, and he knocked down questions he didn't want to answer, even at the cost of attacking the interviewer. If you didn't notice, on 2 or 3 questions, he just suddenly attacked the person asking the questions. What does she have to do with it? Nothing! So why does he attack her? To avoid the question. And he's doing it in an offensive way... Then smiles about it... Yes, he is being smug.

Many of the questions were not to even be taken seriously... "Is JW a 75 year old angry Black man?" Why would any academician such as he, with 4 degrees (including the doctorate) and fluent in 5 languages, answer such a stupid question like that. They tried to put him against BO, he disallowed it. The most controversial question was the HIV one. He referenced TWO books & explained their authors AND further backed it up with 2 HISTORICAL REFERENCES. You obviously are tone deaf or just dumb.

He's two-faced. He will say one thing one second, then another thing the next
He twists the bible like mad. He's misquoting scripture, taking it completely out of context.
He avoids the questions if they get too tough for him. He just reverses it back on the interviewer, who has nothing to do with this.
The only reason people follow his is because he talks about racism being wrong. Well, if you listen to everything he's saying, HE seems racist >_>

Am I the only one who caught that he calls the United States terrorists when answering the first question, then claims he is patriotic when answering the second question? He contradicts himself within a minute period of time. Once again, charisma has proven a stronger tool than truth. People are hanging off his every word.
