  • I HATE THIS JELLY no taste?!

  • those are kanten but with a different name. it's called gulamun

  • how can u used the agar agar powder instead of the stick... how much do we used if we used the powder instead of the stick

  • haha..in malysia we call it agar agar!! i always make bandung agar agar...put some rose syrup, pandan leaves, agar agar, water, sugar and concetrated milk.. DOne!!

  • what's agar agar?

  • @converseR4ever Gelatin made from seaweed instead of rendered pork/beef bones.

  • @converseR4ever gelatin basically

  • ^^^^^^^^^

    LOL. Agaragarlove!

    I love jelly!

  • wouldn't the whiteish part be plain?

  • It looks like Chinese "Dai cho ko", I think she using the same ingredient.

  • cool i have the entire set of the dishes like the gold butterfly plate you had in this video... pretty old design...

  • soooo.... fast

  • uhm... does it taste good??

  • ? is katen jelly sweet itself?

  • no, its something like a sea plant..."seaweed" but not seaweed.

not sweat itself, tasteless. she problablee added granulated suger or some kind of sweetener.

+its a smart jellyifying thing, cuz its not made of animal parts like gelatine. and it just debuted as the "New asian diet food"!!..haha hope it helped.

  • this doesnt teach me anything

  • Doesn't the jelly taste kind of nasty...? It's unflavoured..

  • The fruit makes up for it. o___o

  • @___@;;; plain jelly is plain

  • o___o Roar.

  • I'll help you push your sister, lol

  • I want to make it!

  • do you realize how difficult this video is to comprehend? o.O

  • lol

  • awesome tutorial, its got a very sort of loose, fun format, with the like slideshow and voicover, much nicer to hear someone talking instead of reading instructions off a screen, i so want to try this.

  • Just so you know, ilyaHEART. I <3 you SO much ^.^ I love your quick little ADORABLE tutorials!

And you sound so cute when you voice them. My sister is kicking me I will push her. She's sleeping, it's night. You Rock so hardcore ^.^

  • Wow you used so much kanten compared to me! I'm really mean with it because it means going to the Chinese supermarket again. haha

  • Do you need to sweeten the water with juice or sweetner or something? I love kanten jelly, but the sweetness is not usually just from the bitty pieces of fruit...the jel is sweet too right? I am thinking like this it would be like unflavored gelitin with pieces of fruit.

  • your awesomeee.

and i had no idea that you could make jello outta something vegan-friendly. i havent had it in years for that reason lol. thanks!

  • No sugar? Do you put any sugar in it?

  • what's agar agar?

  • It's like jello, except firmer/harder and easier to cut and mold.

  • To Shushipeep: It is a jelly made from seaweed instead of animal bones and cartilage. Mmmmmmm!

  • agar agar is a jelly

  • The directions are great but even more than that it's fun to listen to you talk. Thanks for putting all this info up. :D

  • what a FUN and AMAZING new thing for me to make!!!

  • Agar is also vegan friendly since it's made from seaweed instead of animal bones. These jellies are cute, I will have to make them :D

  • I don't like agar-agar. D: I had red bean agar-agar, and I did not like it...suprising, I love red bean buns and red bean ice cream....I llove your videos~! They rock. I would put a video on, but I do not know how to get the code.

  • i really love your videos! and i try alot of theM! =)

  • Cool, just read how kanten can help you lose weight...did you try it? thanks

  • I've heard about that, but never tried it. I think after so much of this stuff you'd get tired of it like any food :B

  • I made some coffee flavoured ones a while ago, except I just poured it into a baking tray and when it solidified I sliced them into squares! :D

  • That's how a few other recipes said how to do it, but whenever there's cutting of jelly involved I somehow mess it up hardcore. It's always a disaster; broken cubes everywhere @__@

  • Yeha more for me to cook

  • Oh that's really interesting. Sets at room temperature...hmm...I wonder why.
