always good to see Madonna's influence pop up in the strangest of places. nothing wrong with that. at 1st I thought that was stuart price on (white) guitar...now, that would have been really weird! hope M gets some royalties for the cover!

The expression in her voice..... she's almost reciting lyrics as the poem (take a bow is the poem in fact). I wanna say: Congratulations! I Love this interpretation. It mean's that Madonna's GREATEST POP STAR EVER!
To be honest. the voice is perfect, it's only the combination with the band behind her that makes it sound 'of'. You barely hear the music, so it just seems that Elaine is bad .. .but just listening to the voice: there's no wrong note there. She has a typical, but good voice. Production is what killed it, they had to lower her mic or have a tinsywinsy louder 'band' ;)
There is a difference between bad singing or a bad performance for example :D
...and Madonna has never sung it live. Then, compare... (p.s. love them both)

Awful production. Unconvincing miming. Keyboard player looks like Igor. Drummer looks bored. Only a few vocal tuning problems...
