@smeps Serena slept with Nate while he was dating Blair, although she was supposedly Blair's best friend. And everything that Blair said in the clip applied to Serena. Because Serena always gets what she wants without any effort whatsoever, she has no self awareness which leads to a very selfish (albeit clueless) person. If Serena was thinking about anybody but herself she would have realized that Blair wasn't coming, and at least should have talked to her beforehand.
At no point in this episode did I get the impression that Serena actively tried to steal Blair's thunder -- and that it was just Blair being paranoid and insecure. I sympathize with both, but I just don't see how Serena is a bad person as everyone seems to imply.
@smeps Well, she slept with Nate while Blair and Nate were together, thats pretty bad if you ask me. And she gets alot of attention from Blair's mom, and I can see why Blair is mad about that. But that is not Serena's fault, it is Blair's mother's fault for not paying more attention to Blair
