As explained in the video, users will typically choose what THEY think looks good to them, instead of what is ACCURATE and will pass video material unaltered.

That would be a shame. For now for the LCD versions I've experienced the screen quality from the Ambilight series with 3ms and compared to most of the other brands this one exceeds in screen quality.
Watching this mainly due to his mustache...

Let hope Philips will make tv's their biggest goal, and that consumers will pay that 100 bugs extra.
For now i think Philps is getting out of this market.......
