Unfortunately this also happened to me when i tried to play the earthbound ROM, if you have a saved file try opening that using the emulator, if you don't have a saved file and the save option isn't working there's not much you can do unless you know how to copy to the game code to create a saved file.

Got the game and the Emulator... but the game keeps getting stuck after the opening screen; the screen they says press start.

When it get stuck, something on the bottom says something about 1M, I can't read what's after that I dun understand Kanjis that much, sorry

The Japanese games let you choose between Roman letters (English) and hiragana and katakana (Japanese). Everybody else just gets Roman letters.

Ok, actually, i got another one to work, but now i can't get into viridian city, well, i can...but i can't enter any houses and if i leave the town, it freezes. i can head back to pallet, but when i go there everyone has their old scripts, instead of their current ones. i also lost my sqirtle and insted got replaced by the pokedex, which i hadn't even gotten yet. and somehow, i have a Volcano badge??? what is this supposed to mean???

Dude, I had the same problem. turns out you need VBA (visual boy advance, in case you didnt know. some people just don't. *shrugs*). Go figure, cuz my mom won't let me get VBA.

yes but...It all depends on level. If a lv 100 water type with ice beam went agaisnt a lv...70 or a little more grass type, the water type would win. It also depends on the trainer.

I agree I actualy like bulbasaur better then squirtle , But charmander is always a good choice, Mostly cause I train dragon pokemon (and charizard is..like a dragon sort of) and teach the dragons diffrent element attacks. like ice, fire, lighting...ect. It's harder but it's worth it. Dragon types are awsome.

First off, thanks a lot for this. I've been looking for it quite a bit. But I'm surprised that they seem to have changed the locations where you find Pokemon. I mean, I'm not complaining that you can catch the starters in the wild now, but now I've spent quite a while trying to find a Pikachu in Viridian Forest and I wonder if they just made Pikachus catchable somewhere else instead... Any idea?

I don't know. I caught my Pikachu there. But if you're having a hard time finding it, you can always use a Gameshark code. (There's a Gameshark installed with VBA -- how cool is that?)
