  • rubber guard's sick!

  • Comment removed

  • love the twister..but anything with the spine is a little off limits in my book...i mean...think how terrible it would be to be rolling than have someone lock you up or vice versa and then -SNAP something already wrong with the spine happens...thatd be terrible

  • krav maga is fucking shit!

  • it used to be until eddie made it popular.

  • i have done krav maga, i will agree that it is awesome and something wonderful to learn, but if thats all u have, u wont go anywere, u will be too one dimensinal, u might as well become a boxer. bjj is a very important aspect of fighting

  • right, until you end up on your back.

im no bjj guy nor ground fighter, but you will get taken down.

  • the rubber guard, mission control, is REVOLOUTIONARY.

  • Bravo may not be the best grappler in the world, but he has created a system of jiu jitsu that with enough time and practice will allow you to completely shut down your opponents offense. Once a person masters the rubber guard correctly, the percentage of his/her subs WILL increase dramatically.

  • eddie bravo is popular cause he is a Joe Rogan's friend. how many Adcc did he win? tell me!

  • Yeah his his jiu jitsu did nothing for him. Its all down to being joe's friend.yea like u could eva beat royler buy luck.. that doesnt happen with royler.

  • whats wrong with volkswagon?

  • Bravo got lucky with Royler. Leo Vieira owned him.

  • pretty true eddie bravo is overrated dunno why one of the guys in the video said he was undefeated.

  • He was talking about _Royler_, not Eddie. In fact, Royler was not only _undefeated_ in ADCC, no one had previously scored a single point against him.

  • you're right. There are many other Bjj/ grappling fighter better than him such as Drysdale, Demian Maia, or Marcelo Gracia. He discoverd many new positions or techniques. Eddie is good instructor and fighter. However, he is overrated. By the way, Bravo teachs many techniques are impossible to apply in MMA. Please visit sherdog and check you out. Plant 10th fighters have terrible records.

  • Hey Bravo, how's the weed?

  • no love for the gi, interesting. are there any 10th planet affiliates in san diego?

  • what makes Eddie great he is always evolving by training and working on his game and his students are creating techniques before they reach black belt. How many other schools do you see this happen? You still have to respect him and what he has accomplished since you haven't accomplished one dame thing in the sport.

  • from what I heard was that royler wants to much money....

  • Everything stated, I would say is 100% true.

  • Oh, and who else in his camp? Right from the website recently:

"Congratulations to Denny Prokopos, 10th Planet and Melee Grappler, on his first place finish. NO GI JIU-JITSU WORLD CHAMPION 162lbs!!!!!"

  • All I have to say is that adding his techniques (note: adding, not substituting) to my repertoire has made me far more dangerous off my back and half guard. I'm huge (6-4/260 pounds), but flexible. His sh*t always surprises an opponent, and at MY size, I can easily gogo plata or even (what I call) "half" loco-plata an opponent. I could never have done that before.

  • eddie bravo is cool , he's added some techs. great. but who in his camp except for eddie bravo( who trained till black belt witht he gi) is such a fanastic grappler. yeah the no gi and gi game are a little different. but there are not seperate.

  • Sullysixx - Eddie wouldn´t beat Royler again not even if he stopped smoking that shit...And that´s the reason why he doesn´t want a rematch...The odds are you don´t win the lotery twice in oa row...lol.And if he´s got such a good technique why doesn´te he keep on fighting? He wins once...and disappears????eh he...Stop being so protective about EB...and wake up to reality...

  • you prob dont even train

  • Anything that Mr. Bravo COULD have is completely wiped away with his attitude and ego. Anyone who speaks of themself with such pompous and audacious conceit typically has little more to share than their overbearing vanity. And Joe Rogan? More like the colossal joke of martial arts all together. Joe can do N-O-T-H-I-N-G but get drunk, use drugs and curse in order to make up for his enormous inadequacies!

  • where are his champions then if his stuff is so revilutionary and good? any 10th planet guys win the adcc lately? eddie bravo is all hot air and marketing tactics. he beats royler once, never competes again and milks that lucky victory. he's a smart guy, i'll give him that

  • pfffff.... funny!... why not a re match???? why no more tournaments and/or fights???????? Museums live off the past.... everybody gets lucky once in life..... he he he...

  • 3rd- Why do you think that you have something to teach?

4th- Where are your champion students?????

5th- Stop smoking that stuff and please stop trying to convince yourself that you didn´t win the lotery...That was winning the lotery when you beat Royler. And the lotery you only win once in a life time

  • 1st- Why don´t you give Royler a re-match and prove the revolutionary Jiu-Jitsu oyu´ve got?

2nd- Why are you so presumptuous saying that you invented styles?? You made changes to the good things you have learned with Jean Jacques Machado and that was all.

  • throw him to rickson would be cool

  • I think that someone equally if not more revolutionary is Erik Paulson. Not only has he been doing bjj for close to 20 years now, but he also does shooto/catchascatchcan/sambo. He is one of the very few people out there to have integrated jiu-jitsu with these other styles of submission grappling. Not to mention all the of the stand up arts he has integrated into his blend he calls combat submission wrestling.

  • What don't I know, that Eddie Bravo is a innovator or saying that Jeremy Horn is good as good. I wasn't comparing them, I just was remarking how I look at both as good jujitsu guys.Eddie Bravo is a better teacher from what I've read, and Jeremy seems to be a more dedicated compeditor.

  • Perhapes the best jujitsu practisoner out there. Up there with Jeremy Horn.

  • wow, um no, and jeremy horn isnt anywhere near as good as eddie Bravo, Bravo is an idol to me, but he is far from the best.

  • Who's the best? One of the Gracies? I respect what those dudes have done for the sport, but they are stuck in the past.

  • Well id say Marcelo Garcia would be the best Pound for pound, Probably jacare after him, Pe de pano a 3rd, and roger gracie 4th with lister 5th, the ribeiros tied for 6th eddie bravo and Vieria 8th and 9th, machado 10th etc.

  • I think the way to look at it is that everybody has strenghs and weaknesses, and to say one person is better than another is stupid. My bad.

  • i don't think its stupid to say one person is better than another at all. that's why we have competitions and champions, to answer that specific question. viera is better than bravo as was shown when he tooled him in adcc. nothing wrong with that, but he's obviously not the best.

  • Hollywood California

  • he won grapplers quest, the north american trials and tapped a very good JJ guy at adcc, and tapped royler, only to name a few.

  • Wow, I have a new respect for Eddie Bravo. An' here I thot Eddie was merely Joe Rogan's Boy-Toy, but nawww!

BTW Eddie, I like those magazine photos of you and the lovely Kerri Kasem rolling around on the mat. My pencil is hard...huh heh huh...

  • check out eddies book jiu jitsu unleashed

  • ummm, @ 10th Planet of course... or maybe Eddie will have you over to his house for "privates" if your a young attractive female ;P

  • war bravo!!
